Breathtaking difference! Quiet, efficient, and a must-have for pet owners.
This air purifier has been an absolute game-changer for our home. It runs incredibly quietly, especially on the lower sleep settings, so it never disturbs sleep. You can genuinely notice a fresh, clean difference in the air quality within just a few hours—it does wonders for pet hair, dust, and seasonal allergies. Very easy to use and looks sleek in any room. Highly recommend!

A lifesaver in wildfire season.
Impressive. It is whisper quiet, and extremely effective. I’ve been sick all week from the wildfire smoke in the Denver area. I happened to be talking to a friend on the phone when I received my LEVOIT air purifier. I set it up while we chatted and within half an hour I could tell that the air quality had improved. I was breathing easier and my friend said she could hear it in my voice - it wasn’t as rough and nasally. It says it is for a room up to 222 square feet, but it is portable (under 10 lbs), about the size of a wastebasket, it plugs in to a regular outlet, and I can physically only be in one room at a time. It cleared the air so quickly that I can probably manage with just the one for the rest of the wildfire season. But it was very cost-effective, under $100, so I may go ahead and get another one for the kitchen next week. (I am a senior on a fixed income, but this is a necessity if I want to be able to breathe in my own house when the air quality outside is so bad.)

Consider buying multiple
I bought two to start because I wanted one for the living room and one for the litter box room. They’re working great, so I just ordered a third for our bedroom!Since we have four cats, I ordered the pet filters and kept the filters that arrive with the purifier as backup replacement filters. I’m planning to use the white filter that comes with the purifier for the bedroom since the cats don’t spend much time in there. If it’s within your budget, I would recommend purchasing multiple! The unit is slightly larger than I expected, but it’s still a nice size and very portable. The highest fan speed is pretty loud, but the low and medium settings are quiet like a white noise machine. It can certainly double as an air purifier and sleep fan! The lowest fan speed is still quiet though.

Cost effective for small spaces/limited use
An air purifier is not a complicated device. It is a fan, and an air filter. The fan pulls air through the air filter, and catches various particles and impurities in the air. As long as you have a decent HEPA filter, and a fan that has enough velocity to circulate the room air through the filter effectively, it will work to clean the air. You can build one yourself with a box fan and some high quality furnace filters and duct tape if you have to.So what distinguishes this one from the hundreds of others out there, why is it so popular?(1) Low up front costs - this has enough power to handle a small room effectively and a true HEPA filter at a pretty low initial cost.(2) Easy to live with - the fan is very quiet except on high, and even on high it isn't obnoxiously loud. Changing the filter takes about 10 seconds and is easy to do. There is a pre-filter to catch large dust/animal hair and the like which you can vacuum to extend the life of the HEPA filter for small particles. The unit itself is not huge or ugly, so it can sit in the corner of most rooms without being objectionable.(3) Available filters - this unit's extreme popularity means that there will likely be filters available for many years.(4) It does work - I bought an air quality meter after the recent wildfire smoke episode, and it shows me that this thing does a pretty good job in small rooms. In bigger rooms it will still provide some benefit, but it is really not able to move enough air quickly enough to clean a large room.Downsides:The filters are relatively small, so they will have to be changed fairly frequently if you run the unit constantly. How frequently? I don't know, your mileage will vary depending on how many pets you have, how much wildfire smoke is in your area, etc. But I would expect to buy at least two a year if comparing this to other units that may have larger filters you need to change less often. So think about the total running costs and not just the up front cost when comparison shopping here. If you are thinking about saving money by trying to run this in a bigger room than it is designed for, don't go down that road. You do need to size your unit to the area you are trying to keep clean. A large room needs a larger unit with a bigger fan and a bigger filter. Also, all of these things are quieter if not running on high. So it is better to get a bigger unit even one that handles more than you are asking it to, and then run it slower and change the filters less often versus trying to save money up front and then driving the thing as hard as it will go to barely get any benefit.

The 300-P is a solid choice.
Purchased the 300-P version over 1.5 years ago. Has been used in a 350 sq foot room every day on either the 1st or 2nd fan setting. No issues at all. Has performed great. My roommates use quite a bit of oil when cooking and this keeps my bedroom from smelling like a fry joint. Keeps the pet dander down as well. Easy to use, and OEM filters cost about $25. Makes a nice white noise for sleeping but also has a sleep mode that is super quiet. Nice bonus: you can turn off illuminated control lights on the top with a touch of a button!

Levoit Air Purifier Home Allergies, Asthma
I love the Levoit Air Purifier! It is very quiet all of the time, but if you use the night time sleep mode, you can just barely hear it at all. The fan has three speeds as well as the sleep mode. You can set the sleep mode for up to 8 hours, the best I remember. I do use sleep mode but not with the timer. You can turn off the display panel and I do that at night because I prefer a totally dark room. I run it all day on low and so far, a week out from getting it and setting it up, there are no signs of anything that needs to be cleaned from the outside as I've seen in other reviews. I don't have any pets, just nasty carpet. I call it nasty, because all carpet is nasty to me. I dislike carpet so much! I don't have a choice, though. I think the filter is supposed to last around six months, so we shall see. I bought a replacement filter when I bought the purifier and several filters for the humidifier, as well. It looks like I may have to change the Humidifier filter once a week as a week out, it is starting to turn brownish-yellow around the top of it. I don't smoke and do try to keep an extremely clean place, so not sure what the discoloration is. I'm the only one who has ever lived here. I use distilled water but also bought the demineralization kit and extra filters for the humidifier in case I run out of distilled water and have to use tap water. I clean the humidifier every day. It's not hard to do once you do it. I love the modern look and it is built very well. It's really not hard to use at all. I believe it is super effective combined with my also Levoit Humidifier. I have them on opposite sides of my small bedroom as I couldn't put my humidifier under the smoke alarm. My skin feels much softer and cleaner using the both of them. I could instantly tell a difference in how well I could breathe using the them. As before purchasing them, I couldn't breathe out of my nose at all. The humidity is brutal here. I have been able to get the humidity down to 58, which is something the local meteorologist said couldn't happen in these heatwave temperatures! Ha! I only use GENUINE LEVOIT filters and they're a bit more costly, but I prefer to use the real deal and have less problems/headaches. It can be a bit catchy to find them on Amazon and the generic ones keep popping up; however, I went straight to the Levoit store to get the genuine ones. Blessed to be able to somewhat better control my Asthma and all-season Allergies with the help of these two awesome products! Thank you, Amazon and Levoit! Sorry for combining reviews but I need to do a copy and paste for the humidifier as it will save me time doing it this way.

Quiet, Powerful, and Great for Cleaner Ai
This air purifier is compact, easy to set up, and works surprisingly well. It runs quietly, especially in Sleep Mode, making it perfect for a bedroom or office. The H13 True HEPA filter helps reduce dust, pet hair, pollen, and other airborne particles, leaving the room feeling fresher.

Love it!
This is the second one of these I’ve purchased, and I love them. I live in a dry, dusty city complete with large dust storms over the summer as well as have several cats inside. I get the smoke remover filters (model 300-RF-SR), and they really capture so much outside dust, cat litter dust, and cat hair from the air as well as help keep the cat smell down. The time I accidentally burned something in my kitchen, I brought this in and it cleared up the smell within a couple minutes, about 4x faster than running a ceiling fan and opening the doors and windows to air the place out.The lowest setting is incredibly quiet. The middle setting is audible but loud enough to be distracting. The highest setting is fairly loud to the point where it would distract me if I was on a call or where I would have to turn up the volume to hear the tv over it. I generally keep it on the middle setting and go up to high just when I’m vacuuming, pouring new cat litter, or otherwise need to clear the air more than usual for a few minutes. Putting my trash can right next to it to dump out my full vacuum canister or putting it next to the litter box when I change out the litter really helps capture the dust that would otherwise spread much farther and aggravate my sinus allergies a lot more.

Purificateur d’air

Simple and effective little air purifier
This air purifier lives in my small bedroom, running for almost the entire day. One of my doggies sheds plenty of short, white hair. This effectively captures a lot of her hair, as well as regular dust - I've included a photo to show this.Every week, I vacuum the filter with a brush nozzle. The filter still appears in good condition after 1 month of nearly around-the-clock use.The controls are simple, and the fan operates quietly, especially at speeds I and II.Thank you for reading my review. 🐝

Impressive - at a cost
Not often I write positive reviews, but must say I was impressed at the performance of this thing when I overheated some oil and filled my apartment with smoke. Cracked open a window and cleared a whole room of smoke in 10 minutes, when I'd probably need to ventilate the place for over an hour otherwise. I was skeptical, but this unit does appear to work. Not only that, but my allergies are noticeably better and I can actually breathe indoors now.Unfortunately the filters are quite expensive - having had this for only a month or so we'll see how painful that becomes. It's a good unit, and it does work, though.

Quiet and peaceful
This is a nice quiet little machine. It helps to clean the air, I bought the pet hepa filter to help ease allergens. Easy to set up, doesn’t take up too much space, quick to set up, plug and play. Was an affordable option compared to others and was rated quite high online. Great product would recommend
