Lasts for months
I buy these every few months to put in our closets to keep linens and towels smelling fresh. Lasts for several months.

I was wrong.
I bought three products and thought this one was out. I sniffed the beads and over reacted. Decided to set it out after the other two rather failed. It worked!! I use it to cover up (freshen the air) the unpleasant odor of Clorox from an effective tank cleaner in a small bathroom. (That product includes a blue tablet for fragrance, but it turns into a mess in the tank, so I only use the white tablet)This one was the winner of the three. And jar says it lasts a longer than the two that didn't mask the scent.Cancelling return.

Nice scent, not too much, does its job well.
It freshens up a room nicely, and smells good without being overpowering (I got the calming rain scent). I am very scent sensitive, and this one doesn't give me headaches. I've had one for a few weeks, and ordered two more for other rooms.-Minus a star because shipping took almost two weeks for the second order, and when they arrived a lot of the liquid had seeped out and gotten everywhere.

Packaging issue
There is no problem with the product. It provides a soft, clean scent without a mess--perfect for a bathroom. The issue is the packaging. It was shipped in an envelope with no protection for the plastic container and leaving the contents subject to damage. Please, ship future orders in a box for safety.

Helped get rid of bad garage smell
I started to get a bad smell in my garage, so I wanted something that wouldn't break the bank, and last a long time. So far they have been doing the job and the first one looks to have a lot of life left in it. I dont peel the top sticker all the way off, so its not overwhelming and I feel that helps them to last longer. One warning, the "scent beads" look like normal orbeez, so I ended up putting this on a taller shelf so the younger kids wouldnt get these confused and want to play with them.

Overpowering stench
This is a product very similar to one that I found at Daiso, and I expected a similar experience - a subtle fragrance and effective deodorization. That's not the case with this product. The fragrance on this one is so overwhelming that I will have no choice but to dispose of it entirely. I don't understand why so many products on the American market have such an overpowering stench to them, and worse, why so many of them use allergens to produce the fragrance. If my allergic reaction were more severe, I might consider suing Punati to have the product recalled for endangering my life.I'm not exaggerating when I call it an overpowering stench. The "calming rain" version is supposed to smell like calming rain, not a broken canister of petroleum; and it's supposed to be subtle to gently cover over unpleasant odors, not cause me to bleed from my eyes. The cotton one has an acrid soapy smell. The "lavender and vanilla" version is suitable only in biological and chemical warfare. If you have any sensitivity to fragrances at all, avoid this product.Update 1/26/2016: Keeping the Calming Rain variety of this product in the bathroom with the vent fan frequently on has eased my reaction to it, but the Lavender Vanilla variety of the same product caused a persistent, dry cough within only a day of having the seal off. It's quite painful, and the odor is actually quite vile - nothing remotely like vanilla or lavender.I would amend my advice as follows: Avoid this product at all costs.

Phew!
Lingering, yet hard-to-place, odors can be found in any home, but the kitchen, bathroom, and basement are the typical places that can need extra deodorizing. Sprays, wipes, candles, and incense offer temporary and intense relief when a more consistent and gentle solution is what’s needed. Smell BeGone offers a low-impact approach to neutralizing odors. We bought both this and the Fresh Cotton scents. We put this one, still in its original container, under the sink in the bathroom, while the other sits in a vase on a shelf in our mudroom/garbage-recycling space. The scent is mild; it barely registers to my perfume-sensitive nose. Yet, it’s effective, basically erasing – versus masking – mild household odors. We’ve had our bathroom container in place for more than two months, and ¾ of the gels remain (by the 3rd month, the beads are desiccated - see pic 4 - and the container should be replaced.) The beads remind me of caviar – small, round, and slick. They are a solid gel material and not fluid filled; you can’t squeeze the beads between your fingers. This is a good thing since if you drop the container, the beads won’t explode and spew scented liquid everywhere. We’ve tried a lot of different products to mitigate odors in the home, but this is the most efficient, low maintenance, and attractive one, yet. I saw this brand being used in what used to be a funky locker room at my yoga studio. It worked there, so you can be pretty sure it will work in your home, too.
