The Original Snoopy SNO-Cone Machine Children, Kids, Game

My daughter loved Snowcobes as a child and we loved watching Snoopy/ Peanuts. It was perfect.

After 40 years, I finally have a Snoopy Sno Cone Machine. I bought this for nostalgic purposes only.I recall BEGGING my mother for this as a small child. The commercials for this thing really excited me, and the only thing I probably wanted more at that age was Roy's pocket movie projector from The Great Space Coaster.I am sure snow cones can be made from this thing, but is probably not the best idea. The machine is very janky. Pieces fall off easily, and is very cheaply made. It probably costs $10 to make including licensing fees, but sells at an eye-watering $40!The commercials showed a child dropping several ice cubes in, and this can probably only take one cube at a time. Regardless, it would probably fall apart after a few uses. The handle and ice shaver is NOT made with any quality in mind. The plastic looks thin and brittle. As a result, this is only for display on my case, and to know I actually have one.If you do want to use it, and do manage to make snow cones from this, be aware the included ingredients are very scant. One flavor pack, and three Dixie Cups. That is it. That is sort of a bummer for the massive price you pay for this. You can probably make your own syrup with other drink mixes and buying small cups from the store. Just be aware you need to purchase items if you want more than three snow cones. The commercials showed a bunch of kids eating snow cones. So, like a lot of things, commercials can be misleading. Then again, that commercial was released when... 1977?In reality, if you want to make snow cones with any efficiency, you probably have better options.

Fun for the kids but they really needed adult help making the ice. I feel the quality is cheaper than the original ones from years ago. Still overall a fun item for kids.

Works easy , easy to clean and not to big for counter

My sons had this when they were small. They loved it. I bought this for my grandchildren.Easy for children to use.

The item I received is absolutely not the one in the pictures. It is a much cheaper version which you must place a springloaded cap on top and crank a flimsy handle. It only holds a few cubes at a time so you constantly have to unlock it, reload, lock, and continue. The ice also drops down from the top, not roll out the front, and it does it to the side. You have to turn the cup constantly or it just builds up and falls over.If you were looking for the Snoopy snow cone experience of your youth, this absolutely is not it.

Talk about a trip back to my childhood
