Firstly, the length. In a NATO strap, my personal taste insists that it is long enough to allow 2 or 3cm of “fold back” so that you can fold the end of the strap back through the final buckle. This gives the classic “NATO look” that I admire so much. The Randon isn’t long enough to do this. It gives a very neat finish, but just like any standard watch strap. Not what I was hoping for.Secondly, the buckles. Pick carefully, as there is too distinct patterns.....rounded ends, and squared ends. The rounded ends seem to sit more comfortably. On my strap, one of the buckles has been fitted backwards, so the join in the metal ends is on show. Not good.The buckles themselves are just too big and loose for my taste. With just a single thickness of strap passing through them, they are just a couple of millimeters too tall.Quality of materials is excellent at this price point. My wrist is 7”. If you have a wrist larger than that, then you could have issues with this particular strap. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ it looked like a curtain rail or a piece of climbing equipment *by L***P on 25 September 2017* I agree 100% with Dom Morgan's review of this product.It is a quality well made strap which is made to last well.It is a not a NATO strap but a ZULU strap and consequently the metal loops are larger and more conspicuous.I felt that when I wore it, as supplied, it looked like a curtain rail or a piece of climbing equipment.Like Dom I also removed the understrap and double metal loops and now have an understated but smart looking strap.This is a personal opinion and I should have looked more closely at the other Randon straps on offer on Amazon.If this is an example of the quality of Randon straps I endorse them completely.Make sure that the hardware on the strap fully meets your needs and enjoy a quality product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good quality navy blue NATO *by M***H on 5 January 2018* Bought this to go with a new Orient dive watch with blue dial. I think it looks great and the navy also goes well with my orange dial Seiko monster. Only problem now is deciding which one it will remain with slthough quick changes are one of the NATO benefits so I've just ordered 3 more of these in different colours. These ars NATO not Zulu bands because they have the second shorter piece below the main strap.
