Wild Hare Heatwave Mesh Shooting Vest

So far, this is a great vest. Roomy pockets hold now than a box of shells each. It has a pouch across the back to hold birds, and a zipper all the way across the bottom of the pouch to unload the birds easily. It had a pocket specifically made for a kickeater pad if one were so inclined. One of the best choices I could find for a left handed person. Bought a size to big by mistake, but after washing in hot water it fits perfect, and is slightly adjustable with the Velcro straps. Love this thing.

Surprised it didn't come with the standard two extra shell loops but other than this it's great.

I ordered this vest for an upcoming Ducks Unlimited Sporting Clay's competition, and it fits and functions great, the size was true to fit. Yes, there are more expensive vests out there, but for the price, style, functionality, and sizing--you cannot go wrong with this one. Now if I could just shoot just as good during the competition as the vest functions LOL.

Everything I expected and more interns of fit, finish and quality craftsmanship in this vest. You can tell it’s made from great materials and the stitching is second to none. I’m 5’10” talk weighing 210 lbs and the size Large is perfect for me; and thanks to the adjustable waist velcron thin the back I can wear it snugly over a tshirt or expand to put over a jacket or sweater. If you’re planning to shoot several boxes in an outing I’d highly recommend getting the shock absorbing pad they made for this vest as well.

I hate using belt style shell holders, and since I reload my own shells, saving them was a chore since I'd use a pantaloon pocket to hold spent hulls. With this, I have the ability to two rounds of doubles, with each box in a front pocket, and not run out of room to place the hulls, since that back pocket seems to hold at least double the 100 hulls I collected shooting two doubles rounds. It just handy to have a quality shooting vest rather than be fumbling wit an open box of shells. Add recoil pad and it’s perfect.

As a big guy I don't have a ton of options as far as vests go. Wild hare is amazing. The zipper broke on me (totally my fault) and they replaced it totally free of charge! They have a customer for life in me! I now have another one in a different color as well. they are great!

Fits great on a big guy like me. Has lots of pockets and is not constricting.
