Wellness Simple Natural Wet Canned Limited Ingredient Dog Food, Lamb & Potato, 12.5-Ounce Can (Pack of 12)

I found this dog food because my dog has severe allergies to a lot of food that is currently on the market. She cannot have anything has fish, beef, pork, poultry. A lot of foods use salmon oil or fish oil’s to add omega fatty acids to the food. This is one of the few that do not. The ingredients are extremely simple which is what I like the best about this food every two it’s important that when you get Your dog tested for allergies you take your time and look at the ingredients. My dog absolutely gobbles it down and loves every bite! She also uses the dry food as a companion to the wet. Be aware if you have a smaller dog the size of each pallet is pretty large. I have a German Shepherd which have absolutely no issue eating this food, but I would imagine for smaller dogs it would be pretty large for small dogs. But great dog food for German Shepherd or any dogs that have allergies!

This review is for the Lamb & Oatmeal flavor. I ordered this dog food because after months of searching for something that didn't have an ingredient my dog was allergic to, I finally found this. Lamb and pork are the only animal proteins he's not allergic to, and oatmeal is one of the only grains he isn't allergic to. How fortuitous this food exists, because I was about to lose my mind/give up hope. Wellness is a good brand with a good reputation, and the ingredient list for this food is better than the cheaper brands, let's be honest. My dog, who is one of the few dogs on earth who is a bit of a picky eater and doesn't automatically inhale any food you put in front of him, likes it. What more could I ask for?

My dog devours this stuff. We had to change his dry dog food, and it turns out he’s rather picky! We bought this to add a dollop to the top of his dry food, and he inhales it! It doesn’t have a bad smell, so I don’t mind keeping the unused portion in the fridge.

Have a dog who suffered from bad skin allergies and hot spots. Dealt with this for 2 or 3 years. Many vet visits and medications. Was expensive. Vet recommended Prescriptives brand. Expensive and did nothing for rashes. Found Dog Food Advisor site. Read about and tried different foods.. Finally paid for membership and was given list of 10 best foods for dogs with this problem.Tried this and never looked back. Rashes, ear infections, and hot sports all gone. I switch it up, but favor the lamb and oatmeal. I do not give him table food. Only this and no treats. Only Bully Sticks I buy from Chewy . Com. He is fine now.

I have been using the Lamb and Oatmeal formula for a while now and it works great mixing it in with my dogs wellness sensitive digestion formula kibble, finally a combination that doesn't give him loose stools. Unfortunately the Lamb formula is for some reason double the price this month so I'm trying the Duck formula. Hopefully it will work out.

I have been feeding my dog the Wellness Limited Ingredient Lamb and Oatmeal Formula for a couple years and he hasn’t had an upset stomach on this food which is good BUT recently I have noticed a strong chemical odor when I open the cans which is very concerning so I will have to find another food for my pup.

Okay, so I’m guessing on the flavor...but my poodle really enjoyed this food without hesitation and she can be a bit of a picky princess. She has digestive issues and this food has been wonderful for her. It was highly recommended by Dog Food Advisor, so we tried it. She has done extremely well. The dog and I are both very happy.

MY dog loves it...She gobbled it down....Limited...that's perfect for her old gut.....

We add a scoop of this to dry kibble to entice our fussy older dog to eat. She likes it but after you refrigerate this it gets a bit hard to scoop and mix into her food. Very happy over all and I'll be trying all the flavours for her.
