Outstanding, quick meal or side
The Osem Mejadara is simply a mixture of rice, onions and perfectly cooked lentils, spiked with a bit of cumin and cinnamon. It makes a hearty vegetarian one dish meal. By itself, this makes a fast, 5 minute tasty meal. If you have some extra time, cook up and add caramelized onions for the most authentic taste.

Heat and serve apparently means to boil water, and simmer this for 5 minutes. I expected something more "heat and serve" not "cook and serve".

Just enough spice, makes a tasty meal!
We tried this for the first time the other day, and WOW! This dish is perfectly spiced and filling on it's own. We added some extra steamed veggies and it was enough for 3 of us to eat for lunch. Will definitely buy again!
