Unit was promptly shipped, arrived on time and works exactly as described. The side-mount badge holder (on one facing) is more difficult to mount a badge on than the other side that has the traditional top-down mounting, but both appear to be secure and (thus far) are working well. Will update if I have any problems, but so far I am very happy with it.

This is the second one of these I’ve purchased. The first lasted a couple years before starting to get ratty, which seems reasonable. In terms of ID security, the badge holder is fine, but not well-suited for frequent access; I use a separate pinch-open holder for my main badge. In terms of physical security, the design of the plastic hook could be improved: the badge holder can become detached while stored (e.g., in a shoulder bag), and the entire hook assembly can come unsnapped while stored; I have had both happen and have nearly lost a badge on more than one occasion (e.g., while removing it from a bag while walking). The hook itself can be improved by cutting a short piece of flexible plastic tubing (e.g., unheated heat-shrink tubing) and threading it over the blade and hook. That way, the hook is unlikely to open except under strong pressure. As for the disconnect latch, I may need to resort to superglue to keep it from detaching from the lanyard.

A few weeks ago I somehow lost the ID holder that I had. It was a little over a year old and black. I was looking for one with a little punch of color to replace it and this one fits the bill. It comes in green red, blue and black. It's exactly like the one I lost but in red. Don't know how I lost the holder but not my ID but I'm glad I did. This is very well made and VERY sturdy my ID fit perfectly and stays in it. The price was very competitive. I've had several patients and co-workers ask about it already. I would rate this a very high 9.5 to 10 out of 10 - the only way this could be improved on was a lower price (and it was already a real good price!).

Really pretty, not very functional. The card holder constantly fell off of the lanyard. Not sure if I just got a bad one or what, but I had to replace this lanyard with something else.

This holder works as advertised. I no longer have to worry about a broken clip, nor having to buy an accessory to hold an additional smartcard. I have to carry more than one smartcard at the same time, and this works better than having to get another card holder (w/o lanyard) from my office supply section, and then fumble around to find a lanyard for it. I wish I had known about these a decade ago; I could've saved myself money and headaches due to this holder's conveniences. Do be careful with the quick-release lanyard. If you yank hard enough, it will disconnect and drop your IDs whether you're ready or not. However, I'm still a happy owner and haven't had a problem so far. BTW, if you have to carry specialty smartcards on you also, be sure to purchase the "Top Loading THREE ID Card Badge Holder" from the same manufacturer. It's helped me keep my regular cards separate from the special ones I have to use to perform my IT duties.

This thing is absolutely the biggest slice of junk you can buy as a ID holder!! It holds two cards, but no plastic lens to cover and protect it!! A Twic card is $125 this thing will not hold both cards secure either, they come out very easily. Save your money, this thing is junk.

Einwandfreies Produkt! Für den täglichen Gebrauch in der Kaserne ist es für mich unverzichtbar geworden. Kein langes Rumgekrame in irgendwelchen Taschen. Die Karten sind immer griffbereit und selbst unter dem T-Shirt kaum zu erkennen. Die Verarbeitung ist besser als erwartet, es stehen keine Fäden ab und das Material ist sehr robust und hochwertig. Ich habe mir direkt noch ein zweites gekauft.
