This complete kit includes all necessary components for a seamless upgrade, maximizing exhaust flow and delivering a deeper, more powerful tone. ## Description Granatelli Motor Sports bimodal exhaust valves install after the catalytic converters and let you choose your exhaust sound. Keep the valve closed for a quiet, controlled cruise, or open it with one touch for a deeper exhaust tone. Smart-Chip controlled DC motor completes the valve travel with one tap and stops automatically. CNC-machined 6061 aluminum housings with stainless steel butterfly valves and shafts. Round versions in multiple pipe sizes, plus 3 inch oval for low-clearance builds. 45 degree stainless turndowns with 360 degree V-band clamps let you aim the outlet. Where should the valve be mounted? Post-cat only: at least 18 to 24 inches after the catalytic converters and away from any O2 sensor. Never install a Granatelli valve before a catalytic converter. Can I add a valve to my existing exhaust? Yes. Complete kits and valve-only options are available in weld-in and slip-fit styles. Choose the size that matches your exhaust pipe and install it after the catalytic converters. Do I have to hold the switch? No. On electric models the one-touch switch completes the full open or close cycle with one tap. Every Granatelli Motor Sports part is made in the USA and backed by our team in Oxnard, California.
