Does the yoga headband work effectively? Does the headbands stay on my head stably? They keep in place and do not slip off your head even during high impact sports and exercises. Do not need to constantly adjust them. Will they get twisted or roll up? It does not get twisted as long as you spread out it after wearing it on your forehead. Do they have grippers or silicone bars underneath? NO; but they stay on well. And grippers or silicone bars may cause headache or leave marks on your forehead. Would these fit under a bicycle helmet? Yes. They are not very thick. Are they made in good workmanship? Yes. The seams are neat and the edge is sewn firmly. Does it smell well? No smell at all. Do they work well with long hair or short hair? Both fit. Wash and DIY How should I wash it? By hand or washing machine. Will they fade or shrink after washed? Do they stretch out after wearing? No. They keep colors and shape. Can I heat press the headbands? Can be ironed at low heat; but not necessary because of its crease resistance. Can I tye dye or embroider them? Yes. You can make anything on them like team name and slogan. Review: kinda slippery - This is a product that is a perfect example of getting what you paid for. I've discovered if my hair is clean they tend to slip off my head. But otherwise they work great. The color selection is good. But remember...the cost tells alot about the product in this case. I'm using them but will probably wind them around and use them as a pony tail holder or other household uses. I think they are worth what I paid. They aren't bad, just not much grip to them. Thanks. Review: Stretchy enough, yet tight enough, yet not too tight - Since the first time I used one of these headbands a few weeks ago, I've been making a mental note to come back to desertcart and review them. They are perfect - colorful, comfortable (meaning stretchy enough to put on without ruining your hair, but snug enough once on, that they don't slip. I have been a frequent hairband purchaser, mostly because I find fault with the hairbands I buy, and get new ones. I think it'll be a while before my next purchase - unless I get more, as stocking stuffers or extras in Easter baskets, etc.
