can you tell me the heigh of the handlebar so maybe I can figure out what height I need for my almost 4 yr old Grand-daughter,

I'm sorry I can't tell you because it broke :( My 3yr old loved it! She always loader it up with to many toys and it kept bending at the bottom where the L shape is. It just kept bending down and we would bend it back until it broke completely.

Is assembly required?

Returned right away. Easy to assemble but very flimsy and lightweight. My son would have injured himself as he flipped it over multiple times in a matter of minures. Poor quality.

is this too tall for a just 2 year old?

I got it for my daughter 2 nd birthday fits her perfect and her other 2 yr old friends. She loves it still plays with it everyday since Aug 2!

How do I assemble the basket?

There should be holes in the side bar to slip the end of the basket into at the top. Put the baby seat on first tho. Lol I forgot and had to take it apart again. It's real sturdy. My 2 year old granddaughter pushes it everywhere, even my yard. Sorry, grass, flower beds, it's holding up great and we've had it a year now.
