Pleasantly surprised.
I'm actually super undressed with some of the features of this window film, others ? Not quote so much.Let's start with the good stuff, shall we ? It shipped really fast and came in a box that was packaged so that the film didn't get any creases or folds, which makes it so much nicer than some other brands that are so smashed that its impossible to get the creases out and it makes the window look horrible you don't have any of that problem with this stuff and it's really thick. It's also thicker than any window film I've ever worked with before, it's almost like a thick vinyl & it was so easy to put on. You just have to peel the backing off then you spray it with soap and water, you spray the window with soap and water and put against the window, (make sure you clean your window really good ) you can move it around if you need to to get it positioned correctly. Then you just trim your edges off use a squeegee to get out all the bubbles and spots and it looks great. I didn't have amy trouble at all applying it.You can still see out your window quite well. The only negative I can say is in the description it says its a mirror, one way film. But.. unfortunately it's not. You can still see into the window after the film is applied. Ots i bit more difficult but you can actually see through it. And that's one of the main selling points for why I chose this brand, that and the price point. The price is great. So even though its not as one way as I would have liked it to be, according to the description, its still a great quality over all.

Worked so well I bought it twice!
These days I don’t have a lot of faith in product effectiveness and I was hesitant about this window film, so I chose this one based on reviews and decided to order one roll at first to try it. It was so easy to install, looked great, and clung to the window with no issues that I bought 3 more rolls. I’m thrilled (and relieved!)-I didn’t use soapy water as directions suggested but plain water worked fine, no issues after one month. Definitely make sure the windows are clean. If they aren’t you will see small bubbles on the film, the view will be a little warped, and it’s noticeable outside as well.-I like that the film is THICK so it doesn’t wrinkle when you apply it and you can reposition/remove/reapply it easily without wrinkles.-clean, simple installAdvice:-avoid getting your fingers on the cling side as it can leave fingerprints that you can’t really remove-If you have a large window to cover you might need two people.-Like others in reviews have noted I used an old credit card to squeegee out the water and remove the bubbles. Worked perfectly.Yay! Finally a wonderful product that does what it says.

Nice quality window cling
I bought 2 rolls back in 2024 in hopes it would work in one of my windows that was in my old house unfortunately my windows were too wide and it would look odd if I tried to cut pieces to fit .. so I saved it in hopes it could use it on something else well this year my family moved into a new house that has very old windows with individual panes of glass in them. So I figured this would work fine in those windows since I can cut the window cling down to fit each pane. After a few hours of cutting the clings to fit and applying them which was neather easy or difficult , I find that they look lovely in my kitchen windows . Now I didn't cover all the panes in each window mainly because my Husband requested i didn't so he could see out if he had to . However I discovered if you wanted to do a full window You would need two rolls of this stuff .. luckily I just did the bottom half of each window! I also found use for the long part i had cut off after making the squares that I needed. It was actually enough to do part of the window in the small bathroom under my stairs. So nothing got tossed during this project. Overall Im pleased with this product it has a nice Thickness to it and it was very easy to cut. Just know it does have a slight plastic smell to it, but im sure that will go away after awhile. That being said as of now I would recommend if you are looking for a little privacy but want something pretty.

Beautiful, easy to install, high degree of privacy
I love looking at this film on my front door. It makes beautiful rainbows on my walls and is beautiful to look at it. I had an easy time installing, but I purchased a window film installation kit with exacto knife and felt smoothing paddle. Provides excellent privacy. Lies flat with no bubbles, have had it up a full month with no peeling.Update! One year later and it’s still beautiful and perfectly adhered to the glass. We live in TN and have seen drastic temp changes from the single digits up to humid high 90s. No peeling or bubbling. The photo is from 1 year later and how it glows with my Christmas lights behind it!

I recommend this product but buy a squeegee.
Guys this was super easy. You could either measure or just hold it up and make marks to cut it. I did the second option then just folded and pressed down to make a line and I cut with scissors and trimmed corners with a blade. It stretches a little so don’t pull it or the size will be wrong. I cleaned the glass with winded then I actually sprayed simple green on the window and the film(after peeling off backing). Then I put it up and since it was wet I could move it into position until I squeegeed the liquid out. Again don’t push hard and hold it still with your other hand. (Squeegee not included). It’s so pretty and it really puts prisms on the floor when the sun shines through and it’s a tiny bit cooler and very private. Dried in a day and it’s staying put so far but there’s no adhesive so I know it would peel off easily if needed. I love it. I did three small windows in the kitchen and bathroom. I even had to piece together two pieces Using the factory edges on one Window but you can barely tell. I taped them together with blue tape till it dried.

Beautiful turnout
I put this on the windows surrounding our front door and it’s beautiful ! The sunlight shinning thru the prisms cast such amazing light colors in the front hallway and floor . A beautiful addition to our decor especially for such a low price ! Only needed 2 rolls .

Must read, conflicted on what stars to give it.
My husband and I were looking for a remedy for the front bedroom of our home. This room gets noticeably hotter than the rest of the home b/c the sun sets on this side of the house. We decided to use a self installing reflective privacy film b/c it was an affordable option, we have done window films on 2 other areas in our home, and we enjoy doing home improvement projects together! I do have to point out that this project was not near as fun or easy as doing the other 2 window films. Also, this was much more time consuming. I would estimate it took us about 30 mins on the 1st of the 4 sections. By the time we got to the last section, I would estimate it took as about 15 mins.Pros: Appearance wise, it does look pleasant from both inside the bedroom and outside of the home. Functionality wise, it does keep the heat out of the room while still allowing for sufficient light into the room. It is fairly priced based on the quality. Volcanics did honor their warranty for a full refund. (The cons will give detail as to why we did a warranty claim)Cons: The quality of the film is not as good as we had hoped for. We noticed the film is more flimsy than others we have used in the past. When we pulled the protective layer off the film, that's when we quickly found out just how thin it was, it tarted to bend too easy and that's when the bigger/longer creases started. The 2nd roll of film had micro creases all the way through the roll and on the same areas so we couldn't avoid having to use the areas with the blemishes. (I took 2 photos of the area when it was rolled out on my counter.) Both rolls had a tape on them that left a residue on the film. I had to use a form of glue remover to get it off and I was afraid it would damage the quality of the film, thankfully it did not. The 1st roll of film did show small scratches from where my finger was pulling off the tape. (Unfortunately I couldn't get a clear photo of it.) When using a brand new craft knife, I had a really hard time getting an accurate and clean cut both on my counter top as well as the fine detailing when the film was in the window.Suggestions: make sure you have a clear strategy for unrolling the film on a flat surface, free of pet hair and crumbs. If you can have a 2nd adult help then that might cut down the amount of creases that can occur. Measure the window glass and take off 1/16 inch of your measurement. Do use the printed instructions but ignore the instruction that suggests cutting your film 1 inch bigger. The reason being, I had the worst time trying to use my craft knife on the window to cut off the excess film. You can see photos of where the knife wouldn't cut perfectly b/c the window does have a sort of glue on the edges. Any imperfections in the window seal will make it much harder to cut off the excess film with precision. There's no correcting the areas where I cut unevenly and now the light seems more obvious there. Luckily, we have Zebra shades so we don't keep the windows completely exposed or uncovered. Definitely use a spray bottle with a drop of dish soap and plenty of water on the entire window, drench it so the film moves easily. The bubbles will eventually disappear within roughly 2-3 days. Also, use plenty of that same spray bottle on the outside of the film to help get the air bubbles out from under the film without scratching the film. We used a microfiber towel instead of a squeegee b/c the squeegee felt like it was going to blemish the film (rubber on rubber, not good in this scenario).Good luck! Be patient and diligent!

Exceeded expectations
We have a large window that faces right into our neighbors back porch. I wanted a privacy screen with minimal light blocking so I got the frosted flower pattern. The install was easier than expected (but as others have said, the corners get a little tricky- still, it’s a $25 solution to a new window so)…and holy cow it looks BEAUTIFUL! Light filters through in different ways through the day. A nice feature of the frosted over the tinted version is that it still provides decent privacy at night, and after dark I went and looked at our window from the neighbors yard and saw just a pretty glow of colors from the lights inside. Honestly this is a great addition to our living room if it was only for decorative purposes. Ended up using the rest on a bathroom window. Definitely recommend.Update: we also got the tinted version, and while it gets the job done, it's more utilitarian-looking, susceptible to nicks and tears during installation and looks a lot more like a film on a window (as opposed to this patterned version that literally looks like a frosted window). It serves the function we need it to while allowing us to see through it. But if you don't care about having a clear view out the window, and simply want to gain privacy without obscuring light, the pattern is 100% nicer.

The price,big savings
This shade that goes on your window directly onto the glass is simply amazing. No one could see in and you could see out works wonderful.I'd buy it again and again. And again.
