Very well made game and multiple cards for a variety of play. Kids really enjoyed it. A little noisy for church as the doors snapping shut are a little noisy.

Ok. I’ve had this for a while now, but have waited to write the real review. I needed to know how well this would stand up to multiple road trips and a growing toddler. I can say it is still a favorite of my now five year old. It has definitely been well worth my money. Easy to use, great for working memory and perfect for ages 3-5. The number of “pages” kept her busy through our 17 hour drive.

This is a great travel-size activity for kids of all ages. The game itself is wooden and includes 7 double sided themed game cards. All 3 of my kids love this game (ages 3, 5, and 7) (1 boy, 2 girls). My 3 year old doesn’t quite have the memory skills to actually play the game but we are still able to sit together and look through the different themed cards. It’s actually an awesome language opportunity to work on naming different things, increasing vocabulary skills, and even playing seek-and-find together (for example, I ask him to find a certain object or he asks me to find something on the card). My only complaint (if I had to express one) would be that I wish the gamecards were made out of something more durable (more strongly laminated, perhaps?) because as shown in the photos, mine have definitely become worn with some tears/rips throughout. I did take photos of each card with both sides so that you could see what the different themed cards include. I appreciate that they are double sided so that it prevents opportunities for memorizing/remembering where the objects are on each card. Overall, my family enjoys this game and we have gotten a lot of use out of it. It’s perfect to throw in my purse or bag or in the car and use when I need to distract the kids and kill some time.

The Melissa & Doug Flip to Win Travel Memory Game is a favorite with my kids ages 4 and 8. It’s easy for kids to learn and play independently, works well at home or on the go, and has enough variation to keep it interesting for different ages. The game is durable and well made, which is what we expect from Melissa & Doug, and it’s a great option for family game time or travel. The only downside is that when flipping tiles open, they can sometimes close back up accidentally or block nearby squares, which can be a little frustrating for younger kids. Overall though, it’s a fun, well-designed travel memory game that can be played at home or on the go and makes a great gift for families with children.

This game deserves its own parenting award. We call it “the peacekeeper” in our house, because the second I hand it over, the car goes from are-we-there-yet chaos to quiet concentration. No cards to get lost, no batteries to die, just solid wooden flaps that flip with the most satisfying click (honestly, I play with it after bedtime—don’t judge). It’s survived sticky fingers, snack crumbs, and even my toddler trying to “cook” it in her play kitchen. Somehow, it still looks brand new. And bonus: my kids think they’re just having fun, but really, it’s sneaky brain exercise. Win for them, win for me, win for the backseat peace treaty. Memory game is easy to learn. My 3 year old daughter plays it with her 6 year old brother. My daughter chooses randomly but my son, I can tell that he is learning strategy for memory, there is method to his selecting the tile. If you’re a parent who values your sanity (and your car upholstery), grab one. Trust me—this game flips more than tiles, it flips the mood.

I bought this as a gift about a month ago. After hearing how great it is from the recipient, I have since bought it 3 more times. Each purchase has been for a friend with a kid around age 2. The kids are too young to get the matching game idea, but LOVE opening the little doors and playing peek a boo witch the animals! All of my friends have reported that it keeps their little ones entertained in the car.

Perfect for car rides and family trips! The wooden board feels durable and the double-sided cards are a nice touch. My only gripe is that the little flaps can be tough for smaller fingers to flip back down, but overall a great travel toy that keeps kids off screens.

Another excellent product from Melissa and Doug. We took this along on a family vacation and was great for travel. It fit in my child’s backpack for the flight and helped pass the time. Both my 3 and 5 year had fun matching. Comes with plenty of cards to keep things fun.

Very good quality

It’s a very nice game to enhance memory power and increase retention ability of the child. Great to play with your kid while traveling and a good game to play at kids party. Overall satisfied with the quality and use of product. You can also customise the cards by adding more self made cards when the current ones are exhausted. Another feather in cap is that this game is Eco friendly. Go ahead and purchase. My 5 year old son loves it.

Amazing toy! Your kid can play with you or other kids. Keep thwm wngaged for ling. Bought it for travelling. Kids live it. They dont get bored with this. And there arw so many sheets

Such a great game. Many different themes and double sided to help slow down remembering image location off by heart for multiple usages.

This left me with mixed feelings. The elastic used to open the flaps proved to be a bit tough, making it less user-friendly. Additionally, the game board turned out to be heavier than I anticipated. It's an okay travel game, but the difficulty in opening the flaps was a drawback for me.
