S-ZONE Canvas Messenger Bag Travel Briefcase 15.6 Inch Laptop Shoulder Bag

edit: I originally stated that my bag did not have easy release latches under the buckles (one of the product detail photos showed latches). the seller has been very good about keeping me updated so I thought that was pretty cool. they took down the incorrect photo. later, they told me they now have a grey bag with easy release latches in stock. so be sure to keep your eye out for that.this is pretty great for the price. my only gripe is that the laptop pocket doesn't have much protection. only one layer of lining fabric between where you would put the laptop and the outside pocket (and no padding there). not good. otherwise, this bag is pretty nice. I love that it has a zipper for the main compartment (many bags like this do not), and a handle at the top. the leather is real and a nice thickness, but not too much of it to make the bag heavy. the fabric seems really strong.

This is a really nice bag! The canvas is sturdy and thick, well dyed and sewn together very well. The leather appears to be of good quality and the hardware seems like it will hold up over time. This is the second S-Zone bag I've purchased, having bought this one to match my weekend travel bag and give me a second piece of luggage for longer trips. It holds my 15.75 inch laptop securely inside with a small elastic/velcro strap, and there is plenty of room left for a few textbooks, power supply, cables and wireless mouse. I can't recommend this bag enough, it looks great and is very well made...and the cost is fantastic!

After having the bag for a month, I think this is a quality bag at a very reasonable price. The construction (stitching) and hardware show very little wear and tear, and it is able to carry a 17 inch laptop (larger than the 15.6 in the description) without adding additional padding. There is minimal padding for the laptop compartment and I would recommend getting a laptop sleeve for additional protection. The two front pockets easily fit a small notebook (8.5 x 5.5 x 1 inches) and are a great place for phone and laptop power cables, etc. The inside pockets are much smaller and I have been using them for keys, ID badges, and other small items I need for work. The two pen loops meet my needs. The only issue so far is that the leather finish has been relatively delicate and prone to wear and scratching (see photo) -- an issue I am OK with because it gives the bag a "lived in" look and should be able to be dressed up with some leather conditioner. I was looking at similarly styled bags for quadruple the price, and am happy with the very few compromises between this bag and those.UPDATE: Leather conditioner addressed the fading and reduced the appearance of fine scratches that had appeared in first month of use. To clarify: yes the leather used does have imperfections that I am OK with, I was trying to address the scratches in the finish since receiving bag. Please see second photo below.

This bag is awesome! I had some difficulty finding a nice looking bag that would fit a 15" laptop, as most seem to only fit 13". I can confirm that this will indeed store a 15" laptop, it will be tight though! The leather on canvas looks GREAT and the fact that I can take off the shoulder strap entirely is a nice perk. The buckles clasps can be a little finiky but after a few uses, it becomes easier to navigate- it's much better than having a belt buckle clasp having to undo every time. Outside pickets are clutch, great for keeping pens, I even keep a small journal in one of them and the interior is spacious. Would definitely recommend this product!

This bag is beautiful, I love the leather for the top flap, strap attachments, and the accents. It's durable and has served well as a laptop bag for over a year at this point. It has room for my mouse and all my chargers in one of the front pockets and the other is able to hold my planner and e-reader with plenty of space inside for books or notebooks I want to carry in addition. The shoulder strap is nice and wide so even though it's not padded it's still not bad when the bag is loaded up.I recently conditioned the leather (which was long overdue) and it looks brand new again! I'm very impressed with this bag for the price and hope it will last for many years.

the product description, the pictures, and other reviews made me confident to know what kind of bag I was getting. no surprise. the company does a great job at packaging it so you feel like you just bought a $300 bag. I get compliments all the time from guys and girls, but more so guys. the bag is tough quality with metal clips. there is a strong magnet as a clasp on the big pocket that touches your body when you put the bag on (on the backside of the bag). The zipper is of great quality and the inside of the bag is high quality. cannot say enough good things about this bag.

This backpack is great. I really like the way it looks. I use it for a work bag and as a designer I carry my wacom tablet and ipad along notebooks inside.The 2 front pockets on the outside are even large enough to fit my travel coffee cup. Which for me is very convenient when I want to be hands free.The starp for me is also very comfortable. In the past I have had bags that dig into my shoulder when I have a lot things in my bag. so far so good with this one.

Spent a while actually looking for a bag that would transition me from the second semester of my college senior year into the post-grad work environment and this one fit the bill! I'm 5'3" and small so I had to take into account size and love the adjustable strap. I have a 15" Macbook Pro and it fits perfectly with so much space for all of my things including books, my wallet, chargers, extra pens, glasses, etc. Being waterproof was also a definite consideration for me when buying and reviews spoke most highly of this bag. I definitely agree as it may not be totally waterproof (the canvas would have me feel comfortable laying in the rain with it) but my laptop and books have remained safe! Not only functionally, but I have gotten many compliments on the bag and get asked where I got if from by people of both genders!

After a quest to find a new book bag for university I decided to try this one. I needed a large bag to accommodate my laptop and a bunch of books (I'm studying English, so I always have a ton of books), and this bag seemed like it would do nicely. I was a little worried that it wouldn't be big enough, particularly because of another reviewer who mentioned it didn't have enough room for their school needs.Things I like:Colour, though the dark grey was lighter than I expected, which is fine.Quality of materials - the leather smells so lovely and things feel like they will last.Construction - it's well-stitched and the hardware is solidly attached.Things that could be better:Could be deeper - it's a nice height and width, but an extra inch of depth would have made it perfect for me.The back pocket - it would be nice if it had a half inch of ease so more things could fit inside. I was really impressed with this. It's not the sturdiest bag I've ever seen, but still the ratio quality price is very high and I basolutely recommend this. At first I thought it could be fragile, but I've been proving wrong and I've clearly abused of the normal capacity. The only thing I would mention doing is to make a little sew point in the middle of the compartiment just to make sure the whole inside ''cushion'' doesn't fold or move. Also, the bag doesn't have a lined bottom so I suggest adding some padding there.All in all, I've had so many compliments on this, from both men and women, that I can only say that it absolutely fits my needs and it looks great.

Its a nice bag. I've gotten several complements on it. Biggest issue is the strap gets undone randomly which has caused the buckle to fall off. High risk of losing it when the bag is opened so just some something to watch out for.

Quality is good, but doesn’t hold its shape like in the picture. It’s basically a shapeless sack that ends up looking like an oversized man purse. And the 2 latches come off all the time

I was looking for a bag that was both modern and vintage, that would was as sleek as it was professional and this is the perfect combination of all those things. It's large enough to fit my work laptop, lunch, a book, and all my miscellaneous items without any issue. I get daily compliments on it which doesn't hurt. The leather is a very unique cow hide that is smooth but vintage all the same. The fabric and other materials feel as though they are of a high quality. Definitely recommended.

Beautiful bag! Couldn't be happier with it. It's sturdy and roomy. The quality and appearance of the bag is just as good or better than the picture. It fits my 15.6 inch laptop perfectly with lots of room left for books and other items. Needed a new bag for university and am very happy with my decision. This is a bag that will last.

I bought this bag 2 years ago and it is holding up really well! Nothing has ripped or broken. Definitely worth the price.

A little cumbersome to get into and the laptop pouch takes up so much room that it is hard to easily put anything else in there without a far amount of hassle.

Very good Product ! Why not 5 stars just because the metalic part squeezes and the the front clasp with the buckle falls off not tight enough.
