This is the perfect solution for adding a magnetic mount without blocking stereo or climate controls. I installed this in about 30 minutes but could have been faster if I didn’t modify the rubber insert to fit back into the dash hole. I had to fit it and cut it perfectly so that it finished off nice with this modification installed. I didn’t not have to modify the part itself. This was just something I wanted reinstalled. The mount just calls to remove and leave it out. I didn’t use their magnetic plate that attaches to the phone itself because I already have the scosche plate on my device for my other vehicles. I can’t attest to the plate adhesion. I can say that the adhesive tape on the mount that goes in the dash doesn’t seem great, but being attached with the dash screw, it will probably never move. Magnet is strong enough to off road with IF and only if it is installed on the outermost surface of the phone. The carbon fiber looks stunning and the go-pro mount facilitates steady video. The bottle opener bullet is a cool nick knack that i plan to keep around the house. The only downside is that the double sided tape is not the easiest to adhere. It may have something to do with the location or the tap its-self. I suspect this will be in my jeep for many years to come and when it wears out i plan o purchasing another one! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very sturdy *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on August 26, 2019* Easy install. The base of the mount seems to be pretty solid. After a couple weeks of use I am a bit worried about the arm staying positioned properly. I have tightened it down only to have it drop when I hit a pretty decent bump. So, I tightened it as tight as I could and so far it is staying put. I am a big fan of RAM mounts. May look at changing this arm to a RAM. Could add a second metal plate for those with more than one device (not a big deal). Magnet seems to do alright so far. Probably wouldn't hurt to be a bit stronger. I will hopefully test it off road soon. Phone is a OnePlus 6T, not super heavy. I would buy it again.
