Offers a premium look! Nice with casualwear
Bought this as a gift! Recipients last name is Sanvitale so the branding on this was main influence for purchaseIt came supplied in the box as pictured and it certainly offers a very premium impression. Belt itself looked great too and was very nicely packagedIt certainly requires cutting down, however prefer him having to do this for perfect fit then having one that didn’t have correct tuck lengthBuckle is a tad bigger then envisioned, but it was intended for casual dress only so perfectly fineCan’t comment on longevity, but everything so far has been perfect!

Avoid at all costs, The design is faulty, couldnt get the belt off. I had to cut it off as the release clasp mechanism failed. The problem was, I had to increasingly tighten the belt in order to try to loose it. After 15 minutes of trying this the belt was seriously tight around my waist, and I had to cut it to get free. A shame as a very attractive belt... beware this belt is dangerous,,,,

Had to cut it down to size
I bought this belt for myself to accompany a new pair of trousers.I purchased the 29-39" belt thinking that it would be easily within my waist size of 32" however I was slightly disappointed to discover that the belt was too long and needed a few extra ratchets.However, I soon discovered after a brief peruse through the comments that the belt had inch markings so that it could be cut down to size.Now, after a brief cutting down, the belt fits perfectly.

Get sizes right
Had to sell it to someone else as the sizes on the site, on the belt and on the box were all different. If I hadn't done that i would have had to return it. I don't know how I'm supposed to measure it as I needed one to fit 49/51 inches. (Which is what I thought I asked for? )

Looks good smells horrible.
Looks good and works well, the ratchet mechanism is strong too. The reason for 3 stars is the smell, out of the box is smells almost mouldy though I cannot see anything physically wrong with it. Leaving it out in the shed for a couple of days to see if the smell goes, as it is I wouldn't want to wear it.

Nice to gaze upon but uncomfortable while bursting for toilet as quivering
Already need to downgrade a size as spare leather keeps getting in my hand's way. Also, the clip under the belt buckle is annoying to undo and so every time I go to the toilet I shout "Need for Pee: Unfasten and Furious 4"

Perfect
Perfect belt. Has lasted very well with daily use. The ratchet closing system is unusual but very effective. I really like the way it doesn't have visible holes.
