Protect-A-Bed, Premium Cotton-Terry Mattress Protector, Waterproof, 5-sided, King

Really like this mattress protector. It functions just as good as one I paid almost twice as much as I did this one.

I have had one on our King bed for almost a year, this purchase is for my parents bed and I bought one for the guest room queen bed. It is soft and quit to sleep on, washes nicely (no chorine bleach), fits snugly without a struggle to put on the bed and the protection...Fantastic! Our mattress was expensive and I wanted it to last. This cover protects against sweat stains, wet dog feet when they get by me and head straight for the bed! and it saved the day when a cut lost bleed through the Band-Aid and would have made a permanent stain on the mattress. I also feel good that it helps protects against all the dust mites and dead skin cells that the mattress marketing people are now "warning" us about. Plus the mattress continues to look fresh when guests strip the bed linens after visits. I bought the pillow covers too can't imagine them being anything but great also, but will comment back if I find out differently.

As a frequent shopper on Amazon I take great interest in the reviews of others before making purchasing decisions, so I felt it an obligation to submit my first substantial review. In need of multiple mattress covers, but confused by the varying reviews I ordered several of each. The outside packaging shares similar themes and pictures. Upon opening the packages I did notice a slight polyester type odor from packaging as other reviewers had noted, but that quickly dissipated. Both covers appear to be identical in quality of construction, fit and finish. I did not hear any crinkling noises with either cover as others had mentioned although due to the nature of this product it is slightly stiffer than your average cotton/poly sheet, but that was not a concern. While we have not had any spills or accidents on these particular covers I don't anticipate any problems as we have had similar covers that worked as intended in the past. My experience has been is that if you wash and dry the covers you must use low to medium heat. If you use High heat the backing will get brittle and crack, which then leads to the noise some may have experienced, but worse yet LEAKS. As others have mentioned the mattress pad warranty is only against defects in material and workmanship and does not cover stains on the mattress itself UNLESS the mattress pad and mattress are purchased at the same time and from the same Authorized retailer. Even then there are certain exclusions. In the end I found both the Protect A Bed and Pillows Plus mattress covers to be identical.

I bought one of these 15 years ago it’s still works perfectly. I just bought a new one because I bought a new mattress and my old one was just not as white as it used to be, and I searched and searched and searched until I found the same company because this one’s not plastic key and if you have sensory issues, this is the one and it will hold up to the test at the time

This is our second mattress cover from this brand. This one is cooling and and updated version. Its fits the mattress well, is waterproof and quiet. The other lasted for a few years. We did run into issues with washing and drying and the last one falling apart.

This waterproof mattress cover easily fits deep cornered foam mattresses. It NEVER slides off during the night. No crunchy sound when you lay on it and stays nice and cool! Easy to wash and dry, easy to put on the mattress!! No plastic smell! I love it!

I dont normally write reviews on items but if I do it is because I wants others to know before they buy! I bought this brand because it is same as the one I bought from furniture store when I purchased my mattress 8 years ago. That one began to fall apart but was amazing and worked as expected and kept my mattress in great shape. This one was horrible, not only did it not COOL as listed, it sounds and feels like plastic. Paid 70.00 plus tax and it sounds/feels just like a plastic one I could buy from walmart. i didn't put it on my bed until after the return window and highly regret it. I woke up 3 times within 6 hours, sweating to the point I got up and removed it from my bed to be able to sleep. Very disappointing, wish I didn't wait so long do I could get a refund. Retains heat just like a piece of plastic even though it is advertised as cooling. Should have know when unwrapping it and it felt like plastic that it wasnt going to be a good night. See photos first two are the new cover third one is old cover beside new cover and old one that looks and feels like quality made mattress cover and never had sweating issues. Buyer beware
