Best tasting Calcium plus D chew on the market. The Cherry Tart flavor just bursts with a flavor of juiciness when you bite into it and chew it. And especially after bariatric surgery when on the liquid, pureed, and soft foods phases or recovery - this was an absolute JOY to look forward to three times a day. Getting to actually CHEW these delicious, crunchy supplements while on the strict post gastric bypass surgical diet was like heaven!! And they aren't super chalky because they makes you salivate, so they dissolve nicely while you're chewing them up and they're is easy to swallow & digest. For comparison, they are similar to the texture/consistentency of Tums, but twice the size and WAY BETTER TASTING! This will be my go-to Calcium chew for the rest of my life.

My doctor said I badly needed a Vitamin D supplement, with calcium, but I can't swallow pills. THESE ARE THE PERFECT SOLUTION! They contain 1500 mg calcium citrate, plus 1000 IU Vitamin D, which means I only have to chew one tablet per day to get the full supplement amounts my doctor recommended! (The suggested serving size is 3 tablets per day - wow.) The chewable tablets are large (same circumference as a quarter, and exactly as tall as 4 quarters stacked on top of each other), but since they are chewable, it doesn't matter. The cherry tart flavor is pretty good, not yummy like a "treat" but not gross like medicine either. There is a slight gritty texture and chalky aftertaste, but those are both mild and easy to put up with - especially since I only have to chew one each day! (The other brands I have tried either contain tricalcium phosphate, instead of calcium citrate, which is harder to absorb and tougher on your stomach; and/or they have such small quantities of calcium and Vit. D. that you have to chew 4 daily.) Initially I didn't try this brand because they were in the category of "bariatric supplements," and I have never had bariatric surgery, but who cares what the label says, or what the target audience/consumer is....the bottom line is the ingredients and the taste. I highly recommend these!

These tablets have a slightly grainy and chalky texture. Why then am I giving it 5 stars you are likely wondering. Mostly due to the fact that almost all calcium is either awful tasting or has a chalky or grainy texture- and some even both! These tablets happen to taste quite good if you like cherry tart flavor. The flavor is good, not all medicine-y to me, and the texture doesn't bother me at all, I just feel I should let people who might be bothered by it know.

After Bariatric surgery these are SO MUCH BETTER than taking a ridiculous amount of calcium pills. Due to the surgery I had, I was supposed to take NINE calcium pills a day! Absolutely ridiculous!With these I only have to take four and they’re like eating a sweet tart.Only issue with these, they do use an artificial sweetener. If you have an allergy or are sensitive to artificial sweeteners, be aware of that. I have an allergy to the artificial sweeteners so I do have to maintain a certain level of antihistamine in my system to use these. Still better than taking nine of the other kind! Lol

Ok so I already reviewed the orange ones and I enjoy them. But I can honestly say the cherry tart is my new FAVORITE! It definitely has a little more tartness. The flavor is strong! I think that helps it not seem as chalky. I truly love these! And of course chewables are so much easy to take them gigantic calcium pills. My jar arrived all in tact. I did not see any broken ones.

As my star rating indicates, these were just "ok."Because of surgery, I had to take chewable vitamins for a while, including calcium. The flavor SOUNDED good, but in reality it is really tart. Like, I would chew on one and squinch up my face while doing so, to try to deal with the tartness. My husband and kids would probably enjoy these, as they love sour and tart candies and can eat those with no problems, but I don't enjoy that at all. The taste itself isn't really bad, but just super tart.Also, many of the tablets came broken, even though there was plenty of cotton in the bottle which I assume was supposed to protect the tablets from breaking. After I had taken all of the full tablets, I started putting the broken ones together like a jigsaw puzzle to try to create full tablets to take. Towards the very bottom of the bottle, I ended up just throwing it out. By that time I had "graduated" to being able to swallow pills again, and it wasn't worth the small pieces at the bottom.On the plus side, my blood test results were FABULOUS! So I really believe these chewable tablets worked for me in keeping my calcium levels up during a time when I was eating/drinking very little, which is very important. Also, it's calcium CITRATE, not carbonate....and citrate is surprisingly more difficult to find, but it is what my doctor told me I needed.If you like tart things like sour candies, you may really like these! If you don't like that flavor like me, you can probably still take these, just be prepared for that taste and understand it may not be the most pleasant part of your day.

I take these daily and had been buying the 90 tablet jar. What a waste of money. I wish that I knew that this was available in this size before.The tablets taste good. They are not chalky. And they dissolve easily. I recommend them.I don't recommend the Berries and Cream flavor. They taste awful and are chalky.
