Definitely comfortable, at least for going to the store and basic stuff. The real problem was that they squeaked when I walk. Although it is flat with no contouring, it provides just the right amount of snug comfort for you to move around without the flat footed feeling of shoes like chucks. The bottom of the shoe is also flat, but the way it is designed allows for full flexion of the foot and toes without sacrificing the shoe to cause that "bend" we all hate. I've used them for a little over a month now and they're still in great condition. All in all, the best pair of cross trainers I've ever worn, perfect for jump roping and cardio, plyometric exercises, standard weight and resistance training, and everyday use. I highly recommend owning a pair. There was no "breaking in" period, they fit great right out of the boxIn-depth review:I took a gamble on these shoes because I had never heard of this brand. I'm so glad I did. I was originally going to get the black shoes but I watched the price on each color option fluctuate every day. After about a week I was finally ready to buy and the red/black were the cheapest at that time. The color is true to the picture, they are vibrant red and are very eye catching. They were packed nicer than any other shoes I've seen before. The box was in great condition, they were packed with tissue paper and the laces were perfectly laced. Thinking they might have been returned before I checked them over very well and did not find a single scuff and the logo printed inside on the sole was intact. I often buy men's shoes because it's difficult to find women's shoes in wide sizes. These were comfortable right out of the box. I've worn them several times and they are holding up well. They are gym shoes and I've never had them on outside so I can't comment on how they would hold up for outside wear. They are very light and my feet do not hurt after a workout like I've had with other shoes.
