The best tape I owned
I was looking for a tape and I build movie sets. This is where you measure everything all the time (those who know would confirm this). So I found the Lexivon 16 ft tape after I lost my Milwaukee 16 footer. So I liked the price and the design and got it. And I am very happy I did! First the tape is compact and much smaller than the Milwaukee (bought for $30). But the main thing is the design of the blade - I LOVE the markings, so easy to work with. The tape is build very well and can take a beating. Nicely sits if the hand too. So highly recommend it if you are a carpenter, construction worker or just a DIY guy. Just a note: do not expect all the 16 feet, meaning you can draw it out all the way but the last foot is hard to take out. So If you need 15-16 foot measurements a lot get a 25 footer. UPDATE: Almost two years later my tape after a lot of use stopped retracting and I wrote to Lexivon. They were VERY helpful and sent me a replacement! They do have warranty and they actually do it! Great product and company!

Excellent tape
This tape is amazing. The easy to access fractions is key for me being in hvac having to make extreme precise measurements all the time. It’s light, and the rubber padding is great to prevent roll and damage when putting down. My only gripe is the clip. It needs to be wider because it doesn’t clear the padding which requires an extremely narrow spot to clip the tape onto. A belt doesn’t work well so I end up going for my pants pocket or something of the like. Otherwise, top notch.

Great tape measure. Most usable one I’ve ever had.
Edit: After posting this review, I was contacted by the seller and very graciously offered a replacement. This wasn’t something I ask for nor expected. Absolutely amazing service. Review increased to 4 stars for great customer care. —- Everything about this tape measure is amazing until it got kind of kinked about the third time I ever used it. I love that it has the same markings on the top and bottom of the tape so you can read it from either side. Very helpful. The retraction strength is crazy strong too. Maybe too strong. Get your hands out of the way fast if you’re going to let it come in fast. Mine is still usable and I’m still a happy customer but the tape itself did get kinked and kind of bent up within the first week of use (see pics). It still retracts fine and so far it’s just a cosmetic issue, but has me worried for longterm reliability. For the price though, if I get two years out of it before it breaks or I lose it: money well spent.

Best Tape Measure on market! And you get two?!?!
I have been looking all over for a tape measure that has all the features i want. Printed fractions, bottom finger break, top lock, wide blade, metric, printed decimals, nylon coating, long standout, magnetic front, belt clip, back loop. The closest i came before that was the milwaukee wide blade magnetic. the milwaukee does not have fractions, metric, and the nylon coating does not extend the entire blade. This tape measure has a bottom break, it is also more compact, it has all the milwaukee does (except magnetic ) plus fractions, full nylon, metric. The magnetic is nice if you need to pick up a screw you dropped and cant reach other than that its not that useful. And we have a back loop with a rope already installed so we dont need to do any unscrewing! You also get two of these for the cost. This makes it the best tape measure i own. Id they had a sexier logo on the front, we would really be going places. I love these tape measures i highly recommend them.

Nice tool!
I love this tape measurer! It's just as good as other commercial tapes I've bought in the past 50 or so years! Unlike some other reviews here I find this a good product! What I love is how clear it's marked and how easy the increments are marked which I've never seen gefore! Each increment individually marked which is nice for people like me that don't use them on a daily basis! Feels pretty stout to me, like you've got something well built in your hand! What was nice was the 2 for 1 deal. Have one to my wife so she didn't have to borrow mine!

Great price and quality
At $23 for a four pack, these Taiwanese made tapes are great quality for the price. I like the tape hold button under the tape measure, and the high vis white top and metric units on the underside of the tape. I wish they could be made in the US but Taiwan is the next best thing, super pleased.

Almost Perfect but tongue moves to much
I bought a LEXIVON 16 ft tape measure almost 2 years ago, along with several other tape measures to see which was best for me. Out of the ones I bought then and since, the LEXIVON has been my goto tape measure for most of my wood working. That one was accurate, both when the tongue on the end was over the end of a board or pushing up against a board, I knew it was accurate. Since I used this tape measure so much, I found I was always leaving it somewhere else in my shop and having to go get it, so I finally decided to buy another one so I could keep one of them at the places I use it most. So I got the exact same one and it came in today. The first thing I did was check it for accuracy. I found that when the tongue is over the end of an accurate 123 block that it is as accurate as my first one. When I butted the 123 block up against a square and then pushed the tongue up against the square so the tongue is compressed against the tape measure, it measures 1/64 more than it should. I tested the other tape measure and it was accurate both ways, with the movement being equal to the thickness of the tongue. I tried 4 other tape measures I have and they are all accurate measuring either pulling from the 123 block or pushing up against the square next to the 123 block. The tongue on this one moves too much unfortunately. I guess I should feel lucky that I managed to get one Chinese tape measure that is accurate, and that if I did get a 2nd one almost 2 years later that was just as accurate, it was time to buy a lottery ticket. I know 1/64" is not that much, especially in wood working and only if I'm measuring the inside of a drawer or box or frame and it is accurate if I'm measuring the length of a board to make a cut mark, but it's the principle of it and I will know that this one is not as good as the earlier exact tape measure. 1/64" is not enough for me to send it back, but it is disappointing. This is a good reason that when anyone buys a tape measure they should check it for accuracy as soon as they get it. The 123 block and a good square make an easy and accurate way to check them.

Tape Measure with fractions marked on. Excellent for work working students
My daughter is taking wood working and she wasn't sure how to figure out 3/4 or 7/8th of an inch etc ... if she was to cut the wood at 2' 1 5/8" inch she wasn't sure how to read the 5/8 and this tape measure has all those little ones marked so I got it for her at school Well made, lovely, works great.
