This mini chopper is really small and a really bright green. There's an extra blade that stores underneath the chopper. Whatever is chopped goes into a clear plastic container that can be pulled out, although I had really tough time getting it to pull out.I'm using this chopper to dice almonds for a recipe I have for honey almond bread in the bread machine. I have to use both hands to press down and it only chops a few almonds at a time, but they come out in the bottom into teeny pieces using the smaller blade that stores underneath the chopper. It's not easy to clean because all the little almond pieces get stuck in all the little grooves.It seems very sturdy; it's also very compact and doesn't take up much room to store. It may do better chopping garlic than the almonds I use it for.Product provided for my honest review.

This product works very well for garlic. It's easier to clean than other products I've used to slice/mince garlic. I was hoping that I could use it to slice/mince other things like onion, carrots, etc, but it is way too small for those jobs. I didn't pay enough attention to the size of the product when I was buying it and didn't realize how small it is until I received it. But it is worth keeping just for the garlic because I use a lot of garlic in my cooking, and so it saves me a lot of time. It is also very easy to store.

You still have to chop and mash the garlic with a knife blade.The removable plastic top part breaks very easily and can't be used anymore so the top gets clogged with garlic and very hard to clean out without that part.Otherwise, I still use it until I can buy an oxo Good Grip.

Handy little gadget. No more garlicky smelling hands because I had to chop by hand because all the other choppers I tried were terrible. I have a larger one of this same type that I use for chopping onions. That one came with a small plastic fork-like scoop to help clean out in between the grids. I use that to clean this one. Including one of those to help clean it would make it a five star product. Otherwise, it's a handy little chopper! Pain to clean without that plastic fork tool....

One of the blades broke off the first time we used this. So warning do not use anything but small cloves of garlic. I really wanted to like this product... The idea that you can use the container to store extra minced garlic is a joke. It does not have a very effective seal... every time I open the fridge i am overcome with garlic smell. Not bad for keeping vampires from that bloody steak you might be thawing but for anything else..not so good. Great idea but not well made.

This a very cool little garlic slicer/dicer, but it is not a press, and its advertised grating function does not really exist. Quick slice or dice for garlic or shallots... Pretty nice. If you are expecting a garlic press. This is NOT one.

I thought this was a novel item, and was excited to receive and use it. The very first time I used it to chop a garlic clove one of the pieces of the chopping blade came out. I am not sure how durable it is are how long it will last. I am not sure I would pay $13.00 for another one.

What a waste! I am a kitchen-gadget junkie, and the reviews made this sound pretty cool. (Note to Amazon: End the "get this item free, or at a substantially reduced cost, in exchange for your review" program; imo, it leads to overly glowing (inflated) reviews of products from grateful recipients.) This mini-chopper difficult to use (changing the plates) and even more difficult to clean; so much garlic got wedged between the little green "pushing posts" that just TRYING to extricate the mashed mess took far more time than simply mincing the garlic cloves with a knife or using a traditional garlic press would have. I gave up trying to get the wedged-in garlic out and tossed the whole thing in the trash.
