Mad Hippie Moisturizing Facial Cleanser for Dry, Sensitive Skin, 4 Fl Oz Ea

I absolutely love this facial cleanser! From the very first use, my skin felt incredibly soft, clean, and well hydrated without feeling tight or dry. The ingredients feel high-quality and natural, which is something I really appreciate. I have very sensitive skin, and I’m always worried about irritation, but this cleanser didn’t cause any redness, burning, or discomfort at all. It left my face feeling fresh, smooth, and healthy. I’ve tried many facial cleansers over the years, and this is honestly one of the best I’ve ever used. I highly recommend it to anyone, especially if you have sensitive skin and are looking for a gentle yet effective cleanser!

I tend to go straight to the one star reviews when considering a product and decided not to get this initially bc of the reviews about acne and lack of cleansing power. I went with another “natural” product and it dried out my skin and broke me out so bad, so I decided to give this stuff a try (one of my fav influencers uses it and has great skin so unfortunately I was influenced smh) but this stuff is seriously so good. My skin is super sensitive so I need something that is really gentle and hydrating or else I’ll get acne, peeling, and some bad dryness around my nose. I was using a cleanser prior to this one that caused all of the issues I mentioned above but when I switched to this I kid you not, 2 days later my complexion looked clean, even, my skin started glowing, and it feels so soft. I went to an appointment and the nurse told me my skin looks so glowy and healthy. It’s a non-foaming lotion-like texture and it definitely leaves some of your natural oils on your face which I love (basically it just doesn’t strip your skin). I also use a makeup remover balm before showering/washing my face with this so I don’t really need it to remove makeup just kind of the leftovers, which it does. Y’all in the reviews using just face wash to remove makeup are craaazy. But yeah if you have skin that does better with gentle low maintenance then this stuff is sooo good.

I'm 44 and looking for healthier options to use in my daily skincare regimen. After trying a couple of other Mad Hippie products and really liking the results (Microdermabrasion Scrub, Vitamin C serum, and Super A serum), I decided to try this cleanser. Even though I was content with the cleanser I've been using (COSRX Snail Mucin Gel Cleanser). I've been pleasantly surprised at this cleanser and I love the way that it makes my skin feel after using it. My skin feels soft, smooth, and clean. I like the way my skin appears using this as well. It leaves my face feeling moisturized and healthy! I think cost comparison, it's a bit pricier for less. It probably will not go as far as the COSRX cleanser I have been using up until now. However, I have been using this cleanser for 3 days and already like the results I've been seeing. I have not had any issues with it irritating my skin and causing any type of breakouts. The smell is not divine nor is it bothersome. I like it. :) I will continue to use this combined with the Mad Hippie products listed above. I can tell by the consistency that it will not last as long as my COSRX cleanser, but quality of the product is what I'm after more so than a bargain.

Love love love! It has a sweet delicate smell. It leaves my face feeling nice and smooth. It’s almost like a lotion consistency which I love because I feel hydrated after washing my face instead of it feeling stripped! Been glowing!

I really like this cleanser and use it as my evening facial wash. It’s lightweight and provides a gentle, effective clean without leaving my skin feeling stripped or tight. I also appreciate the clean ingredient list, which was a big factor for me. Overall, it’s a great option if you’re looking for a mild, soothing cleanser. I think the price is fitting for the product itself.

I absolutely love this product and I was very surprised regarding its performance. In many regards, cleaners or cleansers tend to provide some type of sensation like a slight burn or tingle, or texture. This is none of that and I love it. I tend to be pretty picky when it comes to sourcing materials. There are very few synthetic compounds that I will put on my skin or in my body. When I first purchased this, I thought I was going to be disappointed and thought it was going to be a gimmick because I didn't feel those sensation-providing mechanisms like I mentioned above. I know the product is effective because whenever I tried other cleansers or just water, some of the residual chemicals would go into my eyes and I would feel the burning from that day's application of product. Since I've been using this, I have had no issues regarding that. No more burning eyes. My only gripe that I have and it's a catch. 22, is the viscosity. I have at least half an inch of product in the bottom of that container and it's going to be virtually impossible to get it out. I don't quite know how I'm going to get it out yet, but since it's $20, I'm definitely going to try. I understand that viscosity is needed so it doesn't run down the face, but I would assume there may be a better mechanism available so there isn't 10 applications wasted at the bottom of the bottle. In the photographs I'm providing, you can see that the remaining cream is just at the base of the label and is virtually inaccessible using the current applicator pump system. Other than that, this stuff is amazing.

I have naturally dry skin. I’ve tried so many “skincare routine” products in my life, and nothing ever made a difference (except for the occasional allergic reaction), so I gave up. Then, a year ago, I was gifted the vitamin C serum by this brand. I loved it to much that I bought this facial cleanser. Now I’m obsessed. You don’t need much, so it lasts a long time. The pump makes it so easy to use. It’s a great value for your money. It moisturizes without overdoing it (you know how some moisturize to the point you feel like you need to wash your face again a couple hours later; well this one doesn’t do that). It’s gentle on my skin; I never feel like my skin is annoyed from being washed. I seriously love this stuff, and this is all I plan to use for a very very long time. This will be what I have my kids using one day as well.
