These are the best Snaps on the market compared to most snaps just make sure when using 40llb too 100lb test you tie a very strong tie on or your line to your weight or you line will unravel..just be very mindful of that and your all set!!!

Exactly what I ordered

The swivels are constructed well the only problem is that I could not open the clasp as the metal was too hard. I even tried using needle nose pliers and finally opened the clasp but distorted the mechanism in the process. I wish the clasp was easier to open because the other features of the swivel were exactly what I wanted.

I tested the swivel clip using my luggage scale. Loaded it up to 50 pounds and it did not break although it is rated at 31 pounds. The wire loop reduced down to a tiny loop at the end of the wire, acting like a slip knot, but the bent tail portion of the clip surprisingly did not straighten and fail. The fishing line was still securely attached. I was reluctant to test any higher as there was lots of potential energy in the line and I didn't want the clip to whip into my face when it broke. It still swiveled smoothly after 50 lbs. I then cut it open the swivel portion with cutter pliers and found tiny ball bearings inside. Have not tested the ball bearings for rust resistance but I'm impressed so far.
