Is this to be used after the thera tears foam cleanser?or are they the same thing?

For bleparitis my ophthamologist recommended both the theratears foaming cleanser and this spray. He said to wash with the foaming cleanser first and towel dry. Then with eyes closed spray each eyelid with this SteriLid, open eyes to let a little get into the eyes then close eyes and gently rub the lashes and lids for about one minute, let air dry. I've found that I don't really need the foam cleanser, I just use this spray after washing my face. Easier & cheaper with same results.

once opened, how long is this it good for, expiration or time frame? ty.

It doesn’t say how long it’s good for once opened. It just says expiration date on package. The one I just got has an expiration date of 09-27-21. I use it twice a day and it lasts me almost a month.

How is the antimicrobial formula different than the regular theratears Sterilid eyelid cleanser? I think I bought the regular formula by mistake.

My ophthalmologist told me to use this one to prevent infections. It will do a good job cleaning dirt, make-up, etc. from lid area.
