The sizing is slightly small so order larger than you normally would. Guys with really large hands would not find this practical for frequent use as the glove is tough to get off and on. So here is what works and what doesn't. I am using this for saltwater fishing along the marshes of coastal Louisiana. I am comparing this to my grab it glove system that works very well, and how this might work as a cheaper alternative. What works...The glove is well made enough to where it should not quickly fall apart. The textured surface grips fish well enough to where you can hold onto them and remove the hook with the opposite hand. The break-away magnet system is decent. It's not perfect, but it seems like I should get a fair amount of use out of it without it falling apart. The glove fits snug enough to where it won't fall off while in use. Heres what doesn't work. The idea of this product is it hangs by your side and when you bring the fish in you slip your hand into the glove, it breaks away at the magnet, you grab the fish and remove the hook with the opposite hand, you then put the glove back to your side and the magnet re-attaches itself, you slide your hand out and go back to fishing. Here are the flaws...the glove rests right back against your clothing while covered in fish slime which makes your clothes filthy. On my system, there is a backing hanging from the belt and the glove reattaches by a velcro cuff at the wrist area which keeps the funk on the backing and not your clothes but the system I use costs much more too. Next problem is because the glove dangles loosely on the magnetized hook when you try to pull your hand out it lifts up on the glove instead of the hand sliding right out of the glove. On my system, the glove is held secure by the velcro attaching the glove to the backing and the hand slides right out, but again it costs much more. If it is very loose it may not be a problem but these gloves are sized small. I would suggest ordering the xl so you can easily get the hand in and out. Overall, it somewhat works and isn't bad for removing the occasional fish. But if you are removing 50-100 fish like we do down here this would become a pain to use. The saltwater fishing here is very fast and the drawbacks I listed start to add up when the action is heated. It's not bad for a kid or slow fishing days as it's easier to use this than to always look for a fish towel, but there are better systems out there. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Yes! *by K***N on October 20, 2018* This thing is brilliant, you can slide your hand in and it detaches all in one slick motion. I use to to quickly unhook and return sunfish, perch, and rock bass. It works great helping to keep a grip and to protect from fin spikes. You can hang it on a belt or vest loop for quick access. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Too Small *by J***. on July 24, 2019* Decent quality material but sizing is terrible. Have decently large hands, but have never needed XL gloves. Ordered the XL size to be safe, and it doesn't even come close to covering the lower part of my palm, much less my whole hand.
