Great Purchase
Working like charm. I am using it for connecting Jio Fibrenet 2.4/5GHz dual band router and haivng Jio plan of 999 for 150MBps. My Jio router is installed on hall room and my computer is present on work room. By using this 10m cable, I have connected my computer with router. On 5GHz band, I am seeing max download speed of ~150Mbps without any drop and noticing slight drop on upload speed with ~125Mbps (If i use the same 10m cable with both router and computer is nearby place, i am getting max upload speed of ~150MBps). And Coming to 2.4GHz band, i am getting ~95Mbps for both download and upload speed.

It works but not 100%
So, I bought this device so I can download items via Ethernet with my Steam Deck, which I found does not make a difference. I am not sure why but when I use this device then it downloads a lot slower then just using WiFi speeds.I've tested this at someone elses house with a different ISP and it's the same, slower downloads speeds and we're unsure if this is the device OR the way the Steam Deck is setup. Either way it works but something is not right, so now I do not use it and let my Deck download via WiFi.

Not as described
This is advertised as a Gigabit Ethernet Adapter but when I used this adapter on my Windows 10 laptop and I connected it directly to a 10/100/1000 auto sensing Gigabit switch it could only achieve a 100mbps full duplex connection. When I fixed the port speed on the adapter and on the switch to Gigabit/Full-Duplex, the adapter didn't connect. So I tried fixing the connection to Gigabit/Half-Duplex and still the adapter didn't connect.I may have a faulty unit or this adapter is only a 100mbps device. I gave it 3 stars because it is still plug and play, very easy to use and in most cases 100mbps is still way better than WiFi.

Good quality, cheap, works with 2016 MacBook Pro
I use this with my late 2016 MacBook Pro. In the past I have used a Thunderbolt to Gigabit Ethernet adapter for older MacBook Pros. This is small, lightweight and simple to use. As it uses USB 3.1 it has more than enough bandwidth to deliver 1Gbps connectivity. I was able to transfer data at 120MB/s (this obviously depends on your network and the other device you're connecting to).

Plug and play ethernet adapter to USB-C
Not that much to say about an adapter other than that this one was simply plug and play and works without fault. I'm using it for my new MacBook Pro 15", the latest 2016 edition. It looks a mess having to have all these adapters but it is not their fault. The fact that it is black rather than space grey makes no difference to me. The casing is plastic but looks and feels solid enough not to break easily. It is very light-weight.
