iKristin Shiatsu Shoulder Neck Massager with Heat, Black

This is the best thing you can ever buy. I got mine about 3 years ago and it is durable, reliable, perfect. Many people only use for neck, but I use it for everything, tights, arms, upper back, lower back, absolutely amazing. I lay in the couch while we watching a movie and let the massager does his job without holding it but using the back of the couch as support or even putting the massager under my legs. I have a spare one already in case my older one breaks however going 4 years now and strong, using at least 3 times a week.

This is the best thing I’ve bought. I have had so much stress over the years that I have daily migraines from the tight muscles in my back and neck. This has been a game changer. The massage does hurt but it does having a real massage if you have knots. But it definitely eases the tightness. Cant recommend enough!

This is the first massager I’ve ever bought, so can’t compare with others. I only bought it because I got it cheaper in the sales, (£28) I’m 5’7”, small framed and this works fine with me. It’s a bit bulky, but seems well made. The heat function as others have mentioned doesn’t really get that hot, mildly warm at best I’d say. But the massage function feels really good once you work out how to use it properly. It feels REALLY good when massaging the back of your neck (especially if you tilt your head forward with the massager sitting on top of your neck), and good for massaging shoulders, working all the way down the back. I soon worked out the more you pull on the hangers/sleeves the more deep/intense the massage. It can get painful if you pull too hard on the hangers/sleeves. If you want a nice relaxing, therapeutic massage, pull the hangers/sleeves gently. If you need a more intense massage pull the hangers/sleeves harder. Just sit forward with the massager in place, pull the hangers/sleeves and move your hands and arms around a bit to find where you want the pressure applied, and also how much pressure you actually want applying. You can make the massage as soft or as hard as you like using this technique. The pics are misleading as you can’t see the power cable in any pic, suggesting it’s cordless/rechargeable. But it’s not. In the product description write up it clearly states it’s an electric corded device. This is not a rechargeable product. It works with a power lead plugged into a wall socket and connected to the massager while you use it! I’ve used it several times to date. If I run into any future problems or I find out how fantastic it is at sorting out tension/stress/aching muscles I will be sure to update this review. So far after a little massage session I definitely feel better. But I haven’t used it yet when I’ve had tension/stress/aching muscles, because I haven’t had any such problems since I’ve had this device. They’ll come sooner or later. From what I have seen and experienced so far this product would make a good Xmas present. *update* 7th April 2024 As promised I said I would update if I experienced something different. I’m still using it regularly and it’s still working good with no visible signs of wear. The other day I had terrible tension/stress in my upper back and neck caused by looking down for long periods. (I was actually doing a jigsaw and really got into it 😁, but I was bending my head, looking down for 12 hours 2 days on the trot). And the inevitable happened. Anyway I used my massager for about 20 mins and I was instantly cured. Fantastic, I would now give this product 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

I was hesitant at first to purchase this since I struggle much with knots and neck cramps for a really long time. After carefully reading reviews some positive and some not, I decided to purchase this and honestly I was blown away by how this has changed everything for me. First off, this is not battery operated but plug in cable instead which I find more efficient personally. The movement of the machine is for to your body and it does feel like you’re being massaged but have to remember these are not hands and rather a machine so the sensation will be different yet efficient in my case atleast. You can move it around to where you want this to massage you not necessarily to be placed in one area. My family members even used this and liked it once they saw me use it and boast about it. The heat aspect of the massager as mentioned is not actual heat but comfortable warmth which feels like as if machine is overheating but really it isn’t it’s the heat that comes through the cover itself to your skin. You would feel this more when it’s on bare skin and not on top of clothes, you can controle this and it is quite comfortable. You can hear the machine work in terms of noice but it is not the type of noisy lever that would irritate you but rather something you end up even following in terms of humming (happened with some of my family members when they were enjoying being kneaded). The functions are easy to use and it tucks away quite neatly. Overall I have no regrets in purchasing this, I even have been going around mentioning how great it is and once I hear anyone complain about back pain or see me use it, they use it themselves. The price for the product when I purchased it was indeed suitable in my opinion especially after using this. So far I have not had any negative experience with this so I consider myself lucky given I’ve read some reviews but I can only give my honest review about for those who are like me and in desperate need of anything to be relieved from knots in their backs. I would definitely recommend from my own experience and hopefully you would experience the same.

Wow this product is unreal everyone needs of one these! I hold alot of tension in my shoulders as probably many others do i come looking on here for a neck massager however i come across this product and read it had a dual purpose well many infact and was heated which was a bonus as the heat is so good for the blood flow I’ve found to relieve tighten muscles so I read the reviews looked at at very helpful review where a lady had posted pictures and videos of the product I looked the product up on YouTube and I was sold bought for £20 thought it was a bargain arrived today i instantly opened wanting to try out in a decent size box I feel to fit the product in and out perfectly read the instructions but no need really as prettt easy to use comes with plug to plug in and use clicked the power buttons has different speed settings and you can turn the heat on and off which I like I also like the safety on it so it doesn’t overheat when it gets to 15 mins which I think 15 mins is plenty to use on 1 area so I looked again on some YouTube videos just how to use and where to position I put round my neck it isn’t heavy it’s just the right size and weight I feel but everyone is different i sat relaxed turned on with the heat and kept on the first speed settings for 5 mins and it’s a lovely sensation just like having a real massage I did a full 15 mins with the heat on and on my shoulders/neck on the full speed setting and afterwards my shoulders are so relaxed like jelly the tightness,soreness and knots have gone I would really recommend this product, I wanted to try in another area I have mechanical lower back pain and honestly I have tried many things and products so thought why not try this so I sat relaxed myself slid the massager to my lower back wrapped it round me lent against it behind me on the pillow without leaning too much force on it turned on with the heat for 15 mins and afterwards wow it has dulled the pain and my back feels no stiffness I’d like to see after a few uses how much better my back will be

I am not particularly petite, but I am a woman and it doesn't fit the width of my back. The massaging parts are 4–5 cm too wide and massage the shoulder blades instead of the muscles between them and the spine. The width is not adjustable. It also may be too strong if you just try to relax on it. You need to constantly look for the right body position to regulate the strength. And it's definitely too strong for the neck and head, leaving them aching. Maybe for a big and muscular man it would be fine.

First review I’ve ever done for an Amazon product. The reason? I’m so impressed! I’ve suffered with neck and shoulder pain for several months now, despite numerous visits to the doctors, physios and daily pain relief there was very little let up. This massager has helped more than I thought it would. It has a strong action which was a bit uncomfortable but in good way as I could feel it moving my muscles. My physio said my muscles were extremely tight and suggested me using one of these in between sessions. I can actually lie in bed comfortably for the first time for ages. Well worth the money.

I have been using this neck massager for about 15 months, and it is already falling apart. The internal gears started slipping and making grinding noises, rendering the massage function useless. To make things worse, the mesh fabric cover is poor quality and has already developed holes. ​Since it is just past the 1-year warranty, the seller offers no help. It seems like this product is designed to last just long enough for the warranty to expire. Very disappointed with the durability. Save your money and look for a more reliable brand.
