Are the appropriate battery cables supplied ?

Hello, Thank you for your enquiry. The inverter is not supplied with battery cables. For this sized inverter it is recommended to use 4mm2 battery cable for distances up to 1.5m from the batteries and for distances of up to 3m away from the batteries 6mm2 cable is recommended. There is more detailed information on the recommended cabling and fuse sizing in the detailed user manual that is supplied with the product. Overloaded at 80w

Tested this with an 90w laptop psu, it kept overloading and reseting. Tested again with 80w soldering iron same result overload :( Very disappointed. I got this to replace the most budget 300w cigar socket inverter which handles both loads absolutely fine. I was prepared to pay the extra because it integrates with my other victron kit. Sent it back!
