I found this to be incredibly well made and good value for the money. I was worried it would be cheaply made, but I was pleasantly surprised. I do not use the chain that came with it, just the badge holder itself. I love how it velcros securely once you have your badge pinned into place. The clip fits snuggly on my duty belt and has never come off even when running or in a struggle with someone. I definitely recommend this leather holder.

This badge holder is made from quality cowhide that feels very durable. The stitching is perfect, the badge fits securely, and it rides comfortably throughout a long shift without getting in the way. It has a professional appearance and has held up well to daily use with no signs of wear. If you need a dependable badge holder that looks good and does its job, I recommend this one.

It complements the shape of the badge very well, fitment is near perfect, it tends to shake a bit even with the Velcro “seals”. Material of the leather seems on the cheaper side but the metal clip to attach it to your belt seems actually heavy duty.

The AKITSUMA Police Badge Holder is excellent quality. The cowhide leather feels sturdy and well-made, with a clean, professional look that holds up well to daily use. The stitching is solid and the leather has a nice finish without feeling stiff or cheap. The universal fit works perfectly, keeping the badge secure while still allowing it to be easily displayed when needed. It sits flat, doesn’t bend the badge, and maintains a professional appearance whether worn on duty or carried off duty.

I purchased this badge holder approximately 2 months ago. My department has a fairly unique shape of badge wich makes it difficult to find a badge holder that will fit as well as allow the use of a neck chain (I strongly reccomend the use of a neck chain as there have been studies done on badge placement during critical incidents and how it may affect potential friendly fire incidents). The stitching holding the velcro pouch that contains the chain to the body of the holder has begun to detach. While this can be fixed, it does leave some to be desired concerning build quality. Our department does not issue a second badge or allow us to purchase a second badge. Admittedly, this has probably contributed to the damage done to the holder as I have had to move the badge from my uniform to the holder in every instance that I have transitioned to plain clothes. I will add that the damage does not appear to have gotten worse as I have been very careful on how I open the carrier.
