Ordered first can, works fantastic. Second can, the top was broken but no problem with a refund. Ordering third can and hoping for no problems as this spray kills wasps almost immediately. Very happy with it.

I recently moved into my home several months ago. Since then, I have been like the Terminator towards all pests and insects. So this spring/summer, I noticed quite a few yellow jackets and hornets trying to all make my home theirs. I can't convince you how deeply I dislike these stinging menacing insects. They don't seem like essential insects that are necessary, and they can become quite angry if you get too close to their nest. So on to the review: I originally started with Spectracide 57637 Commercial Wasp and Hornet Killer, 18-Ounce Aerosol . Although that did a great job in killing the above mentioned insects, the spray top does not stay put and slips off and the product also leaks down the side of the can. Not good when you are in the heat of battle with these nasty bugs. You don't want to mess around like I did. I had a few yellow jackets to spray and the top came off. Needless to say one yellow jacket flew towards my head in attack mode, and I cowardly ran back into my humble garage. Enter stage left Whitmire Micro-Gen Research Lab Bee and Wasp Spray: Professional Freeze. I let this can rip on two yellow jacket nests which where developing behind my window shutters. The first nest was sprayed. No yellow jackets came out to attack and one dropped out dead - instantly! The spray length looks to be around 10-15ft but I didn't measure. By the way, the spray is VERY forceful, almost like a garden hose if you shake it up for a while before spraying. The top is heavy duty and stays put while spraying. I sprayed the second nest a week or so after the first as it began to develop more and PLOP - three dead yellow jackets fell out! I LOVE THIS STUFF. From what I understand, this is what professional extermination companies use. I've sprayed a hornet while in flight trying to land on my pool furniture. He madly flew off but I saw him abruptly land in the neighbors yard, presumably dead. I also sprayed a small developing nest under my wood shed in the rear yard. I haven't seen a yellow jacket come back since, but I will monitor the site. I haven't tested this on carpenter bees as I don't believe I've seen them (yet). So if you're still on the fence, PICK THIS STUFF UP - IT WORKS!!! IF YOU TAKE NOTHING FROM THIS REVIEW, DON'T MESS AROUND AS THESE INSECTS CAN QUICKLY CAN BECOME DANGEROUS. This is the spray you need to use when all else fails, or when you need to kill these little buggers the first time. Using this is like the Police calling in the S.W.A.T. Team. Happy Spraying!

Shoots far! Have not seen a wasp yet since using it a few weeks ago. Bought another can to have on hand in case we get another hive forming on the house.

BASF PT wasp freeze is an excellent insecticide for bees, wasps Yellowjackets, and it has tremendous force good stream, kills on contact, highly recommend it.the cons a little pricey

Let's start this story by saying: There was a wasp in my house. It hovered around my kitchen windows and kitchen for approximately 2 weeks before I thought this wasp was going to drive me mad. I was hoping it'd just die on it's own. Not the case. So I needed something reliable that would kill this wasp before it got angry and came after me. This story is made more entertaining by the fact that I have a huge bee/wasp phobia. A legitimate, run away from bees and wasps, phobia that I cannot control at the moment. So it really only gave me more anxiety that on half these reviews for different products things were said like "This didn't work. it only angered them and I got stung." or "It only stunned them." I was terrified. It's worth noting that this product is not recommended for indoor use, but let's face it. I was desperate and after reading horrid reviews for Raid I needed a guarantee that something would work. So I bought this. And I literally tried to use it like 4 times, but could not get up the nerve to possibly piss off this wasp and have it come after me. But I was becoming afraid of entering my kitchen at all and would avoid at all costs and it felt a little ridiculous so one day I just got fed up and I waited for the wasp to enter a clear area and sprayed with all the hope that I would hit this guy and it would meet its end. I DID. The spray comes out strong and sort of fans out a few feet from where you spray. It's not just a single stream where you could easily miss, which is what I was really concerned about. Upon hitting the nightmare wasp, it immediately went into what I can only assume was cardiac arrest and dropped to the window sill as it began to seize erratically. I sprayed it again for good measure and it was dead. My kitchen windows were also coated with an excessive amount of wasp poison. But you know, some things are worth it in the long run. tldr; This stuff works. You're not supposed to use it inside but I did and I did not die from doing so. Cheers. Death to the wasps!

Had a large nest of yellow jackets on my front porch. There were approximately 30 drones on the outside of the nest. They are approximately 15 feet in the air. I took out the trusty can, I aimed it, fired a short burst of about three seconds, (machine gunners understand) and every single wasp dropped dead immediately. It is really that good.

This stuff is AMAZING definitely worth the wait for delivery I recommend getting this instead of the stuff from other store like home depot or places you get pray somewhat like this. This spray gets the job done in one go. No need to wonder if it worked or not. I used tho for wasp they had one big nest and tje made two more small ones it was in the front door and they stung my face I know they're just protecting they're territory but damn they stung really hard I had to get rid of them because I have young kids and wanted to have access to the front door again. It works for critters from entering your home too just spray along the edges of the entrance. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IF YOU HAVE PETS THAT CANT BE PUT AWAY AMD SAFE FROM WHERE YOUR SPRAYED this stuff can make them sick if they get into it from where you sprayed if you do have pets keep them away from the area your sprayed for at least 48 hours that goes for childrenas well. This spray is oil based so it can stain also when spraying make sure you use gloves and a mask or something cover your mouth and nose so you don't breath it in. If you get it on your hands wash it off your hands with soap and water I'd say two times.
