Sturdy and made for hands free stitching
This wooden Z frame is very sturdy and solid. Most of it is already put together. This is my favorite lap frame to stitch with for small to medium scroll frames and q-snaps. Using it has enabled me to continue stitching. I have arthritis in my left hand, and cannot hold a frame anymore. With this Z frame I can now stitch for hours hands free. I loosen just the elbow joint to make it flatten down so I can put it in my tote bag to take with me on the go.

Meh. Seemed poor quality.
Wood had defective splits in the clamp area and I returned it. OK size for small projects if you get one that's in good shape. Very flexible configuration.I ended up getting a larger one that came in perfect condition.

It's a nice little stand
This is a great little stand. The only think keeping me from rating it 5 stars is that the Z arm seems to loosen fairly quickly. I don't want to over-tighten but I may try adding some rubber washers to give it a little more grip.

A Great Product, makes stitching easier!
This item is exactly what I have been wanting, too bad I had to buy a couple of inferior stands first!The stand is easy to assemble and even easier to use! I did however have a slight difficulty taking my Qsnap from the bar that attaches to the stand... but I could remove it. I think it needs to be strong in order to hold the QSnap!!!I will be giving this stand a lot of use!! I recommend this to all stitchers!!!

Very Nice Lap Frame
This is just was I was looking for. I almost bought a less expensive version but I am very happy with this one. It is made of oak so it is very sturdy and will last a long time. It is very easy to put together and collapses well to take with you. It is so nice to cross-stitch without my hand cramping up from holding the frame!

arrived with parts missing
Unfortunately the bolts, screws and knobs were missing so the frame was unusable. I had to return the item and am still waiting for my refund from supermart.

Saving me from wrist pain
This has really helped me out when I'm working on a project for a few hours at a time. I used to get wrist pain, but now I sit with this on my lap and it takes all the pressure off my left arm. It took a little bit of getting used to, but I'm really glad I have it.
