Great to have for many uses
Nice quality of pop-up towels for use in travel bags, car emergency kits, camping kits, or first aid kits. The biggest selling point for me was that these are organic and compostable. It takes a few drops of water to get them to open up, and once open they are pretty durable for disposable towels. The 12" x 20" size is a little smaller than a typical bathroom hand towel. The bamboo material is soft and doesn't have any weird odor or scratchy bits to it. We use these mainly for camping trips and to keep on-hand in our roadside car emergency kits. For $1.50 a piece they are too expensive to be used all the time for any instance you need a paper towel or napkin, but for instances when you want to keep the weight and space to a minimum, like when hiking, these are a really great option.

Outdoorsman and professional Explorer for the Discovery Channel recommended these to me
I will never buy paper towels again! My friend who's an avid Camper, Outdoorsman and Professional Explorer for the Discovery Channel recommended these to me! He uses them to bath within the jungles and everywhere back at home. Just add a drop of water and it blows up into a huge durable, thick, absorbent, sterile paper like reusable towel. Yes, you could also use them as TP in a pinch ;-)They're made from Bamboo and 100% Biodegradable! Think of all the Trees these will save!I just bought some for my Mom and my Sisters to use in the kitchen and bathroom. I'm sure these will be standard equipment for Astronauts to take along with them to Mars and beyond. WOW is all I can say! Looking forward to more GO-products from this fantastic innovation.

Handy, lightweight towel easily carried for hiking and biking.
I love these towels. I carry them on bike rides and hikes. All it takes to make them expand is a few drops of water. I think the instructions say only a teaspoon, but I don't carry teaspoons with me when riding and hiking, so I'll stick with a few drops. Once expanded, they can be used to wipe away the sweat and clean up hands, etc. I fan mine through the air for awhile, which cools the towel. Then, I tie them loosely around my neck and enjoy the cooling as the breeze evaporates water and cools the towels. They take up almost no room and weight less than an ounce.

A wet towel unless you dry it first
For immediate use, you have to add considerable water to make it expand quickly. Then you have a wet towel. It's still somewhat absorbent and strong but the cooling effect can't be avoided when wet. It is very good to use when dry but the size is a lot bigger than the compacted state.

Dang, I like these.
I was new to these cool things so it took awhile for dumbskull me to figure you need to add water to make them open up. After that they worked like a super strong paper towel or rather a thin fabric dish towel. I used mine in a shower and it cleaned everything. It was still strong enough to keep going but... it had cleaned everything. I said thank you and disposed it.

Good Product But Expensive
Very nice towel and I like the fact that it is made from organic materials. I don't mind paying for that but these seemed to be a bit expensive even taking that into account. Would be perfect at 1/2 the cost. I would purchase again if it were 1/2 the cost but at $1.50 each just too much to pay.

If you use Compressed Towels, give these a try
I don't used compressed towels very often, but when they are needed, you want a good one. I purchased these to keep in inventory using one as a test. They worked great, much better than other brands I've used, and a good price too. They feel high quality and a good size, did what they are designed to do and then I tossed it in the trash. I don't buy these to reuse them!

great product
Better than expected, only thin is they have to be a little damp to work.Would be awesome to put some clean bottled water on them after a long flight or drive and hold it on the face.
