Simpson PowerShot 3500 PSI Gas Pressure Washer, 2.5 GPM, Honda GX200 Engine

This is a powerful compact pressure washer! I have only had it for a few weeks but so far it has made short work of cleaning my patios, driveway, and fences. It was easy to set up and started on the first pull. The hose that comes with it is only 25' long so I purchased another 50' hose so that I did not have to keep moving the pressure washer. I also purchased the Simpson Turbo Nozzle which works very good on the patio and driveway. I would not use the Turbo Nozzle for cleaning the house or fence as it could cause damage really quick.

Unit was delivered in good condition. Instructions are fairly good, but because the Honda GX 200 engine has two oil caps (one with a dipstick and one without) it’s a little confusing as to which one you are to utilize for adding oil to prior to starting the engine. It would remove confusion if this was noted in the instruction manual. Other than that, it’s very easy to set the unit up. It also appears well constructed. It’s also not fully clear from the instruction manual how to service the pump as far as changing the oil even though there is a reference to changing the oil after the first 10 hours of use. I will update my review after I’ve spent some time using the unit.Update: Used unit for 6 hours or so and it starts on first pull and performs really well. A correction to my earlier comment about servicing the pump: it is indicated on the pump in very small type that you change the oil every 100 hours; not 10 hours as I stated in my initial review. However, I still had to do additional searching on the pump to find information on servicing as well as the oil that is used for it. Simpson sells the oil. I bought some at Tractor Supply Company.

I spent a long time researching pressure washers before buying this Simpson PowerShot, and so far I’m very impressed. The Honda GX200 engine starts easily, runs strong, and gives the machine a genuinely commercial-grade feel. It has more than enough power for driveways, siding, fences, patio cleaning, and heavy grime removal.What really stands out is the build quality. So far so good. Started right up first pull. Powerful and easy to use. Easy to put together also. Only 4 stars simply because I haven't had it long enough to know the reliability, but if it is as good as it's been so far, shouldn't be a problem

So far so good. Just got this unit and I'm not all that familiar with motors, but I'm putting it together and figuring it out. I'm going to have to read the entire manual just to familiarize myself with motors. But it's pretty simple so far. It seems to be made really well and it has that Honda motor so I'm expecting some long time use out of it!UPDATE: everything works well except the situation they've contrived to hold the handle. It's ridiculous. The handle will not stay put no matter what you do. It just wobbles and teeter totters. I don't like that part at all.

I purchased this pressure washer after extensive research. It had to have a reliable engine and pump. The Honda GX200 and AAA Triplex Pump fit the bill and knock it out of the park. Built like a Tank and makes fast and easy work around our house and taking care of our land equipment. Simpson hit a home run on this one. Reliability and Value.

This is a heavy duty, well built unit. The engine starts first pull every time. It has plenty of power for general and heavy duty cleaning around the household and the farm. Great product. Would recommend.

The title of my review says it all. This pressure washer is well built and reliable. Easy to assemble and operate.
