This is the best mermaid costume I have seen available. Very vivid colors. **Q: Does this costume run large? My daughter is 2.5 on the smaller side, thin and long** A: No. My daughter is 3 (will be 4 in dec) & she’s big for her age. I ordered her this costume in a size 5-6 ( just so it could be a lil bigger for Halloween and I could put her clothes under) but I received it in a size 4-5... Thankfully it’s not too SMALL and it fit her just right. Should be able to put her some leggings and a long sleeve top underneath with no prob... ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Adorable! *by J***P on Reviewed in the United States on November 25, 2023* Great Ariel mermaid costume, fits true to size ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Great for those mermaids! *by D***T on Reviewed in the United States on February 3, 2021* My four year old loves this. As do I ( loved Ariel as a kid). It fit good. A little loose fitting but she is thin for her age and just turned four. I ordered 4 t while keeping shrinkage in mind. Which it will. It is thin but not see through thin! Good quality, very well made. After a few washes the sparkle pieces came off the top but I kinda expected that, it took a few months and she lives in this thing. Perfect for the price! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars The item does run a little small so size up *by J***E on Reviewed in the United States on October 30, 2023* It ran small & my daughter is kind of tall so it was a little short on her. But overall she loves it & that’s all that matters --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/150103581-aliziwaylittle-girl-mermaid-princess-dresses-ariel-costume-for-grils-birthday](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/150103581-aliziwaylittle-girl-mermaid-princess-dresses-ariel-costume-for-grils-birthday) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
