Good Night, Lightning (Disney/Pixar Cars)

This is a great book for kids who love Disney Pixar Cars. The familiar characters make it fun to read, and it is especially nice for younger kids who already enjoy Lightning McQueen. It works really well as a bedtime book because the story is simple and easy to follow. The pictures also help keep little ones interested while reading. Overall, a fun book for any Cars fan and a nice addition to a child’s book collection.

This book is adorable! It glows in the dark and delights my grandson. I will forewarn you that you have to hold the book up to a light, page by page, before it will actually glow. The glowing part delighted my grandson. Even if you do not use the glow in the dark portion, the book has raised things on each page which is fun for a toddler.

This book is really only good for a 2-3 year old. It doesn't have a whole lot of text, but is a good last book in the night time routine. It can give you an excuse to turn the light off in the room to see it glow in the dark. You will need a flashlight but can be your phone make it glow. My Cars loving 2 year old loves it. Would be good for gifting.

My son is 3 and obsessed with CARS lately. My mom and I both got him this book, so now we have two of these. Unfortunately, it’s a really short story. We were so excited to read it before bed last night, but there’s only a few pages and one simple line on each. It’s also really hard to get each page to glow. Unless you charge each page in natural or artificial light, they don’t glow. How are you supposed to open up each page to “charge” them?!! I guess you could open up a page and let it sit out for a bit, then turn the page and repeat. All in all, it was a pretty big letdown reading this last night. He still had fun pointing out all of the characters and asked me to read it numerous times. That wasn’t a problem since it only took about 60 seconds to get through the book! 😅 I recommend this book for kiddos under 2, maybe 3. Hope this helps! 😉

Bought it for my 20 month old because he loves cars and we’ve read it almost every night for months. Not very long but still cute. If you hold it to light for about a minute and turn off the lights it glows in the dark A LOT which he loves.

Contains very little material for reading. My Cars loving little one does enjoy the pictures though, and the texture on each page is cool. (see picture)The glow in the dark is hard to see sometimes. It shows up better in some pages than others. Because there’s not a lot to read it’s a very quick book to get through as well.

This bedtime book for little ones is super fun, the storyline is very short and probably only has 5 or 6 sentences total. But our Cars loving toddler loves it. The pages of this boardbook is textured which is fun and glows. Use a strong flashlight to "charge up" the glow in the dark parts ahead of time and they'll be obsessed.

It lights in the dark my son loves it. However it’s very short though suitable for 2 yrs.

We've had this book for nine months and my little one really enjoys reading this every night! He likes to read more than one book and it is always good to end with this one so we can turn the light off and admire the glow in the dark pages. Also, when he asks for another book, he knows we can't read any more because it's dark. We shine a torch over the embossed parts of every page to "charge" it so it glows in the dark. So worth buying especially for kids who like cars and reading books.
