Bought this to try on oatmeal. And I will say that it sure as hell tastes like cake. It's crazy how much it tastes like it. BUT, I would have not been able to taste it had my husband not been around to stir it together. I could not stir it. Wound up getting oil all over my clothes, and when my husband started stirring it, it was so hard that he done stirred the label off because it's not affixed to the jar well. Flavor-wise, it's 4 stars, the only thing that could make this better is a little dash of salt. It's pretty one-note, but once I added a sprinkle of salt it was DELISH. From a user experience standpoint, it's 1 star, though. I would NEVER buy it in the jar ever again. It's way too hard to mix that way. WAY TOO HARD. I would not have been able to enjoy it without my husband.

The almond butter arrived separated as I expected from any natural nut butter. The almond butter however was so separated that I was unable to stir it in the jar I had to dump it into my mixing bowl and mix on high to get it to mix together. The consistency is slightly runnier than honey do not good for sandwiches or toast as it makes a big mess. The butter smells amazing like cake batter and the flavor is pretty good. I would not purchase this product again as it is far overpriced for what you receive.

Packaging was super cute! I stirred it for a few seconds before I realized there was a HUGE chunk of something in it. I pulled it out and it was the base of the product that commonly settles, but it was hard and dry. Completely not edible. What I could taste without getting the base mixed tasted chalky and left a bad after taste. I think it sat on the shelf toooo long before I got it. It’s not something I’d ever consider buying again

SHould not be allowed to be called almond butter. The texture is so bad I was gagging just putting it in the spoon. This is NOT an almond butter. This is an almond oil! It literally drips out of the spoon like a thick oil. Mind you, I mixed the sucker like a crazy person for at least ten minutes!!! Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

The idea is great but the flavor taste very artificial ... almost like its old. I was trying to find something different and healthy for my little but I I think I will stick to my other almond butter favorites like Justin's Vanilla, now that is amazing!

I'm a huge fan of this stuff, I follow a keto diet and it's a perfect snack if I've got a craving for something sweet. I will say though that I prefer the little packets to the tub.

I really loved this natural almond butter. After it was stirred the almond butter was smooth and spread easily. I'll purchase this item again!

the expiration date was March 1, 2020 and it was covered by a sticker . The contents of the jar were disgusting - a hard shapeless chunk of the so-called almond butter rolling around in murky oil. I got my refund and trashed the butter. Shame on you for selling customers expired products.

I don’t really think it tastes like cake. Maybe a slight vanilla flavour?? It’s runny but I expected that since all almond butter I’ve tried is pretty runny. I like the texture of it since it’s harder to find truly smooth almond butter without any chunks. It was good but for the price I wouldn’t buy it again. The cheapest smooth almond butter at my grocery store is around 8$ so save yourself the 10$ and just buy plain almond butter and mix vanilla into it.
