Extremely moisturizing and helps with frizz. I don't have the medium or loose curls that it's customized for; my curls/coils are 4a/4b. So, it doesn't do much as far as curl definition (which I didn't expect since it's for looser curls). However, it still works great as a moisturizer on both wet and dry hair. I've even used it for a twist out with great success. It's also a Godsend for frizz!! My hair can be so frizzy and this helps to smooth and banish frizz for the day.It helps to keep my hair hydrated a good 2-3 days after application, so I don't have to moisturize as often. I usually use it over an oil like Argan, Castor, or Coconut oil, and I don't get any flaking or little white balls in my hair, which is nice (some products just don't mix well with others). This formula is really thick, so I find that I have to use more for my hair type. It often leaves white residue when I use it on wet hair but it goes away once dried.I know that this can be used as a skin moisturizer too, which makes sense considering how rich and moisturizing it is. However, I only use it on my hair. It also has a really nice, sweet smell - not too strong and doesn't linger.I received this product for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
