BraceUP Carpal Tunnel Wrist Brace - Metal Wrist Splint for Hand and Wrist Support, Tendonitis Arthritis Pain Relief

I'm a 73 y/o lady who tripped over my cat and badly injured my right wrist. 😹 Pretty cliche, right!? The contraption that urgent care hooked me up with was miserable. How does one attach a heavy metal brace to their dominant hand with ace bandages? I finally wised up and shopped on Amazon for a nice, comfortable brace. I'm beyond glad that I chose this one! It's made a huge difference for me. I love the 3 adjustable straps because A) my hand and fingers swell, B) I have muscle spasms in my forearm, and C) my wrist needs firm support but gets achy so I have to temporarily loosen the middle strap for relief. Also, the 2 smaller straps close on the top of the hand and arm. I'm having trouble rotating my arm completely over so closures on the bottom wouldn't work for me. Plus the Velcro is high quality, securely holding the straps yet flexible and easy to adjust. This brace is quite light and comfortable for me, even to sleep in and fits perfectly. I'm going to order another since I may be wearing them for a while! Very HIGHLY Recommended!! 😻

I’m extremely satisfied with this brace. I wear it often during the day and throughout most nights. It provides support with needing to be super tight, and still allows me to use my hand. The value is excellent, this is as good as anything I’ve bought at the drugstore.

This brace seems to hold my wrist in place at night. However, the material makes my hand and arm sweat. It fits well, it is comfortable enough. You can adjust the tightness to restrict your wrist more or less as needed.

I have carpal tunnel in my right wrist and it's bothered me on and off over the years. Last summer I did a lot of home renovation work where I was hauling around OSB boards and using woodworking tools. My wrist flared up so bad I could barely move it. At night my hand would fall asleep and there wasn't much I could do about it. I decided to order this wrist brace and it has been amazing. I was able to relieve the wrist pain completely with a few days of wearing it, but my right hand still falls asleep at night and when it's in certain positions. I wear the brace every night and my hand doesn't fall asleep anymore. This brace is easy to put on and take off and it's very comfortable to wear. ***UPDATE *** (7/17/23) After months of wearing this brace every night because my right hand would start tingling and cause enough pain to wake me up, I decided to try sleeping without it for the last week. To my surprise, the numbness and pain has completely subsided. I attribute this to the fact that I wore this wrist brace consistently, even while traveling. It definitely helped the healing process. I will continue to keep it on my bedside table in case I need to put it on at night. I am grateful to no longer be in pain.

I’ve reached that magical age where my wrist decided to start filing daily grievances against me for the crime of "typing while existing." Enter this brace. It’s like a tiny, supportive exoskeleton that tells my carpal tunnel to sit down and be quiet. The splint is sturdy enough to keep everything in line without making me feel like I’m wearing a medieval gauntlet. It’s actually comfortable enough to sleep in, and I can still use my fingers to scroll through more things I don't need to buy. If you’re tired of your hand acting like a grumpy toddler, this is the peace treaty you've been looking for. Five stars for pain relief and for finally letting me get a full night’s sleep!

Gives good support

Overall, this is a flexible and comfortable wrist brace with good support, but one design flaw keeps me from giving it a higher rating. The center metal brace is solid, and unlike some other wrist braces I've owned, I never experienced any issues with the fabric surrounding the metal support. The middle wrist strap is also very sturdy. It uses a traditional hook-and-loop Velcro material that has remained secure and reliable over time. Unfortunately, the two outer wrist straps are a different story. They appear to use a hook-and-wool style fastening system. Initially they work well, but after a relatively short period of use, the wool-like material becomes "bald" and the hooks no longer have anything to grip. As a result, the straps lose their ability to stay fastened. For me, these outer straps provide the most important support, so once they stop sticking, the brace becomes much less effective. If BraceUp used the same durable hook-and-loop material on the outer straps that they use on the middle strap, this would be an excellent product. That durability issue is the primary reason for my lower rating.

Avevo dolore tra il polso e il gomito dovuto ad una infiammazione dei tendini (causa padel). 10 giorni con questo fantastico tutore che bloccandomi il polso non mi ha fatto sforzare più alcun muscolo ed è passato. Tutore comodo, totalmente lavabile e regolabile con le sue tre cinghie. La mano tende a sudare un po' sul fondo del palmo ma è normale! Consigliatissimo! La spedizione è stata velocissima tramite corriere Amazon e il prodotto è all'interno della sua confezione completa di istruzioni (anche in italiano). Grazie :)

The brace digs uncomfortably into the area between my thumb and index finger. I’ve tried both available sizes, but the issue persists. Unfortunately, it's not wearable for extended periods. Overall it does the job but at a discomfort.
