All comes in the packet, no need to add any other ingred except water, unless you want to. Cheeper than buying corn meal, and the other ingreds it requires to make batter. And with Ketchup on fried okra, who anything else!

Great taste, it did require more mixture to get the form right. I’m so glad I purchased extra boxes.

You have to use a lot of oil when making these little suckers but they do have good flavor. I suggest finding a cold pressed oil that hasn't been refined as it's optimal in the fat department otherwise these are pretty good but let them drain awhile!

5 stars for the ease of making! Make sure your oil is hot before dropping one in, or they will fall apart and make a mess. I got it right the 2nd time and added 1/2 teas garlic powder. Use enough oil to cover your spoonful. Also...these are filling, especially when added to a meal, so if you are one person, cut the mix in quarters and only mix one quarter at a time. I cut it in half, and still had too much mix left, so I'll put it in the fridge for tomorrow.

I did not like this taste. Way to salty!

Hush puppies have a distinct aroma and flavor. These do not. Onions are lacking. The cooking instructions suggest adding onion to the batter. The texture of the deep fried product is good enough. Not expensive but not really worth buying. Disappointed.

This is a good value for the money. A great substitute if you don't have time to make them from scratch.

We all loves this mix. You can use it in many fashions or as the recipe states. Reminds me of my youth on the river eating these with fish. Great taste and texture no matter what you do; even if you mix it wrong or bake it wrong it still tastes great.
