I wanted a "drag" suit to make my laps difficult. I ordered the 4XL so that it would have a long enough torso for my 6'1 frame. Removed the breast pads. Not only is this suit made very well, it fits like a wrestling suit for guys with the "boyshorts" type of design, so I get no funny looks at the gym. Funny thing is while it looked masculine enough on me, it looked sexy on my wife who tried it on and will be ordering one.My experience swimming is that it gets pretty heavy when wet and creates quite a bit of drag. I was winded at the 1.5 mile marker. I'm extremely happy I found this. Searched high and low for a suit that didn't have long legs, and only women's provide the shorter legs.Top notch swimsuit for men or women. Highly recommended. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bright colors, good cut, a bit large *by M***R on January 27, 2019* Update: I've been wearing this suit for lap swim 3x week for over four months now, and I'm pleased to say it's held up well. The navy has faded a bit, but the other colors are still bright, and the suit has held its elasticity well. I love that it's more covered than a traditional suit, and I get compliments on it fairly frequently. I'll definitely buy another one when needed.The good: Bright, cheerful colors; good coverage and good fit on the bottom, and has held up well for lap swim 3x week for a month.The less-good: The suit is pretty roomy on top, to the point where I always check to make sure I'm still covered before I come up for air. I've gotten used to it, but if you usually wear a lap-swim specific suit, it's a bit disconcerting at first. The pads are removable, which is good because after one use they flipped inside out and refused to stay in place. I don't know how the fabric will hold up in the long run; I brushed against the textured wall of the pool, and instantly I could feel tiny snags all over the back of the suit. So far there's been no further damage, though I'm careful to avoid the wall.All in all, I'm pretty happy with this purchase given the price. The suit is pretty, and it's doing its job for now.
