This is a nicely made piece of kit. Mine came in a little case with a handle that makes this very easy to store and keeps everything neatly in one place. My motor turns at two rpm. I tried a six volt wall wart that lets the motor turn at one rpm. I found no difference in record surface noise or cleaning quality between either rotation speed. The lip on my ultrasonic cleaner is a bit wide. I used a 5.5mm hex wrench to loosen the two bolts on the back of the unit, slid it onto the cleaner and re-tightened the unit down. It fit perfectly and remains snug and in place. The hand adjustable height screw is a nice touch. My only complaint is the fine pitch thread design requires many maNY MANY turns to raise and lower the unit. A more coarsely threaded design would have allowed you to raise and lower the unit quicker and without as many turns. So the question many will ask… Is this worth $169.00? I am still asking my self this question. I need a second unit for my other ultrasonic cleaner. There are cheaper alternatives out there, but I doubt that they are built as robustly and with as much attention to detail. I feel if this unit was priced between $139-$149, it would be an excellent buy. At $169, I feel it’s a good buy. I will be buying a second identical unit. I will do this for two reasons. #1, I have OCD and I don’t like my things to be mismatched. #2, This unit looks great has a very nice build quality. In the end, I will say that I’m satisfied with my purchase. I believe if you purchased this unit, you will also be satisfied. I hope this helps anyone with their decision process. The Wewu ultrasonic record cleaning system is fantastic. There are more purpose-built all-in-one ultrasonic devices on the market that have electronic-controlled fancy-pants doodads built in, but frankly, they're pointless. This device does everything you need it to, and nothing you don't. The design is such that, yes, it will lean into the ultrasonic bath. The wall of the ultrasonic cleaner was never designed to support the weight of the armature; it's not load-bearing. The solution that I've found works best is to put a counterweight on it (see picture)! I just use a couple of velcro cable ties and hang whatever's convenient off the back. That way there's no need to tighten the screws down, warping or denting the side of the cleaner, etc. The results are extraordinary and better than any other cleaning method I've seen or tried. Every record I've thrown at it has come out sparkling clean. It obviously cannot fix scratches, warping, and damage, but it will remove dirt, grime, smoke, dust, and all the crap that you simply cannot get out of a record groove with a cloth and a spray. It's amazing. Wewu has iterated on the design since they first released it, and I have actually had the opportunity to compare the first and second generations. The newer, four RPM motor does in fact work better than the older twelve RPM design; the slower rotation allows for deeper, better cleaning of the records, to the point that I've gone back and cleaned some records again. The difference is incremental, but noticeable if you're using good needles and a preamp. Whether you are looking to clean your existing collection, scouring the bargain bins, or addicted to Discogs, anyone serious about cleaning their vinyl will love this device. It is absolutely a step up from a Spin-Clean type device and will make a serious difference in the cleanliness of a record that has only been cared for with such a system.

Before I spiel, I thought it would be nice to give you a condensed version. The bracket is very well made. Love the label covers. Keep the box it comes in to store it! If you can solder, change the 10rpm motor for a 2rpm (or less) motor of same size so you don’t have to clean it for as long a time to get results. You *can* clean 45s if you have adapters, but ymmv (see review). My formula: Fill the tank until it just covers all record grooves with Aquafina or any reverse-osmosis water and 10mL of Kodak Photo Flo. Leave the temperature alone (it’ll warm up on its own). Set the timer for 18 minutes. When done, raise bracket and let drip dry for 15-20 minutes, then remove. Dab any droplets left on bottom edge of records and make sure record is dry before sleeving. Now for the ranting: *** Having used this extensively for the last few months, I’ve developed some personal preferences that I will share. *** The motor provided is a 10rpm motor that rotates nearly 13rpm. Too fast for optimal efficiency imho, so I replaced it with a 2rpm motor of the same size, which rotates at about 2&1/3rpm—MUCH better than before. (Some soldering required) I have also found that spacing the records at least an inch apart allows cavitation to be more effective. With the stock motor shaft length, that limits me to one on each end of the shaft with 4 spacers in between. So to try and solve this, I bought a couple of shaft couplers and a longer threaded rod, as well as some nylon washers to act as additional spacers (see photos). I also bought a clamp to put on the opposite side of the tank to prop up the end of the rod since both the stock shaft and my replacement would lean down, causing unneeded (and audible) strain on the tank when in use(ie. not only would the water scream, but so would the tank walls!). Unfortunately, while this works well for 2 records at a time, 3 records spaced out adds more weight on the end of the rod and leans heavily when I lift the records to dry (see photos). The coupler I put on the motor isn’t as stable as the stock one which is fused to the rod, so I have to tighten the connections from time to time, and moreso when cleaning 3 records. After some experimentation, I’ve decide to stick to cleaning only 2 records at a time, using only the provided label covers as spacers, but I’ll keep using the longer rod and shaft couplers as this lets me prop it on the extra clamp. This is great because the records stay level above the water, whereas before, if I wanted to cover all the grooves on the back record, the front record label cover would have to be partially submerged. Also, when I raise the bracket, it doesn’t lean as badly with only 2 records spaced apart. As for 45s, well, it kinda works with the adapters, but an issue is that the label covers cover the last few grooves on some singles, so those won’t get cleaned, but these were designed for standard LPs, not 45s. All in all, I’m happy with the purchase, though I do miss the interaction of cleaning by hand. It was more therapeutic.

Very nice, well built, quiet, and quality spacers. I was surprised by how well built this unit was. It looks like it is different than the holders that come with the Vevor units. Not crazy about the price but I am pleased It was very well built. The spacers keep the record labels dry. It is a nice upgrade in a holder for vinyl records.

Just got what is probably the latest version, the motor runs at 2rpm. Simple to install on the side of my Ultrasonic cleaner, and it comes with a backing plate so it doesn't lean into the tank. Smooth operation, solid piece of equipment. Will probably not run more than 4 records at a time to give enough space for proper cavitation, but even with four the unit runs very well. The spacers that double as label protectors keep the labels intact. Just hope everything lasts, but it looks promising.

Well made unit. The rotational speed is nice and slow . The fit is tight enough that it runs smoothly It is also loose enough of a fit . You can give the knob a spin and the carriage will run clear to the end . Very handy unit It will do 45's too Highest rating I have ever given AAA++ Rating

After 5 years it died. I ordered 3 replacements from amazon and other. All were DOA
