It comes with Acrylic paint and it is on canvas. I was a little miffed when it came because the colors looked nothing like the picture. However, I decided to paint it and see how it turned out. To my surprise, it turned out great! The numbers (as with most canvas paint-by-numbers that have small areas) are hard to read at times, however it also includes a guide to the numbers. I've included a picture to show how it turned out. Honestly, it looked so nice that I ended up hanging it in my room. (The frame is not included - it's just something that I made myself.) It was a lot of fun to paint. Don't be put off that the colors look different from the picture - it turns out great! No shortage of small areas so if you don’t have your own brushes I would recommend spending a couple bucks for one, my favorite is masters touch 12/0 round frequently on sale for 50% off at hobby lobby. I just started mine and some are half full, drying up quick, or running out quick and I just started today** A: I had the same issue. I messaged the seller and they sent a new set of paints quickly. I will say that even the new set dried very quickly as I was working. Keeping a small bowl of plain water (not my paintbrush water) to add a drop or two to my paint as I was working seemed to help.
