I wear a side part, my hair is a 2 on the sides and medium length on top, and I have fine hair. It has been difficult to find the right pomade that doesn't reek and doesn't leave hair like a crunchy gel a few hours after application. I have tried both Pete & Pedro's pomades (they are OK but smell awful and leave your hair crunchy), and 1821's pomade, which is amazing but is very strongly scented and that gets old after awhile.However, this majestic product smells like a citrus goddess but doesn't overwhelm like 1821. It goes in extrmely easily, it's pretty forgiving and won't dry overly quickly like some pomades while you're styling. I would definitely recommend using it in on towel dried, still damp hair for the best results. I have never been so happy with a hair product and it's nice knowing my search for the perfect pomade is now complete. Thank you, Bona Fide. It smells fantastic, goes on smoothly, holds like a champ, rinses out very easily, and restyles nicely with a bit of water. The smell is like a very manly orange smell - in the best way. The smell is what drove me to track it down. This is what my barber uses and I loved the smell every time I left the barber. The consistency allows for easy spreading and application without being too sticky and paste-y. I like my brows bushy and lifted, and this does the trick without getting flaky or falling flat. It even holds through my bicycle commute in the Florida heat. I use a spoolie brush to comb it through my brows backward, and then I go upwards and fan it to dry faster.
