Bike Sprocket Tool with Cassette Pliers 11-26 Teeth

These were bought to replace old chain whips that had broken on a very stubborn cassette. Like all BBB tools they are well made, of good quality and offer great value. Ideal for the amateur mechanic. They did the job without any apparent damage to the teeth and the grips prevent scrapping knuckles using the traditional chain whips which can easily slip.

Had been faffing about to get a cassette off. Ordered this, 2 minutes after arrival and the cassette was off, good quality and highly effective tool, worth paying the bit extra for it.

Must-have for home bike maintenance! Very sturdy and does the job.

Makes gripping cogs much less painful and simpler for fitting or removing cassette or freewheel, more of a solid leverage than chain wrench, worth the extra cost, solid construction.

I have been struggling to remove a lock ring with a chain whip so bought this to hopefully solve the problem. Combined with a BBB LockOut Cassette Lock-Ring Removal, Sprocket Tool for Road and Mountain Bikes, I managed to finally get the lock ring off due to the amount of leverage and better grip compared to the chain whip. Excellent tools at a reasonable price.

Questo attrezzo è fantastico, non riuscivo a smontare la mia cassetta Sram XX1, ho provato 2 chiavi diverse, tra l'altro a una delle due si è rotta la catena. Così disperato ho fatto un ultimo tentativo con questa chiave della BBB. Grazie alla sua potente presa e un bel po' di forza, la cassetta si è svitata Senza rovinare nulla. Consiglio questo attrezzo, costa un po' ma li vale tutti.

Ein sehr wertiges Werkzeug welches seinen Zweck erfüllt, mit dem Werkzeug kann die Freilaufkassette sehr gut gegen verdrehen festgehalten werden. Wesentlich besser als die bekannten Kettenpeitsche. Kann bedenkenlos empfehlen

This tool is an absolute breeze to use: Just press the lever to open the jaws and place it onto the cassette cog. Release, and you're ready to go. I didn't even have to get that one hand dirty! Clearly a step above the common chain whip, which is cheap, simple, and available everywhere, but can be a challenge to use with really tight lockrings (the chainwhip mostly grips the cog on one side, and tends to slip). If you're using chainwhips a lot (hey, pro shops!), I'd say this new and unusual tool is well worth the money. Looks weird, but works great!
