We washed it on the delicate cycle and laid it flat to dry with ease. I bought the royal blue in M (6-12 months), and it fit my 18 pound one-year old perfectly. She wore it in pictures, and the blue photographed wonderfully. The photographer couldn’t stop raving about the blue on a baby girl; she always tries to convince moms to put girls in blue but rarely succeeds, I guess! The bow that came with it it BIG-so big that my husband and I called it a fascinator the whole time. It’s a headband with a big blue (flat-ish) rose with short strings of pearls draping across it. It made for an awesome look with long strings of pearls for her to play with during pictures.I suppose the lace is a bit stiff for everyday wear, but it may have softened with a wash. I was afraid to fade it or tear it down at all, so I didn’t wash it first.
