Step2 Fantasy Vanity Set For Girls

All my 2 and a half year old daughter wanted for Christmas was a vanity. So I had to search amazon for the perfect one. This one looked nice and simple but all of the reviews said the quality was great. Sure there were some fancier, more expensive princess ones but the quality of those just didn't seem like they would be as good. I am very happy we decided on this one. It was easy and quick to set up and it feels very sturdy. My daughter loves it. She is small for her age but it is the perfect size and seems like she won't get too big for it for a long time. We also got her a pretend makeup set, and a set of hair things to go with it. These really add to her enjoyment of the product because the vanity itself only comes with a couple of things.

Don't waste your time on cheap dollar store knock offs or the expensive, over-done Disney versions...this is your best bet. Well made, sturdy and very cute, this vanity does the job. Very affordable and large. My daughter is 3 1/2 - this fit her perfectly. The chair is great and sturdy. She will be able to use this for a long time. It was easy to put together, too. We put it against a wall to give it more stablility, but it works free-standing. She loves sitting at it and putting on make up and playing with her doll's hair. It also has a working light that automatically shuts off after a time so that's a great feature, too. Would definitely purchase again or for a gift.

I was worried this would be too small for my 5.5 yr old but it's perfect. She previously had to strain to look in all of the grown up mirrors around and now she is comfy sitting at her own special place. She is tall and this still wasn't too short for her - nice also that her baby sister can use it too - she is 2.5 yrs. The price point was perfect - this is a great value as other vanity sets were much more expensive. I dont worry if she spills something on the surface as it is easy to clean. The mirror is break-proof plastic but does a great job and doesn't distort the image - looks like a real mirror. Also it has nice stability. The light is more for play as it isn't very bright, also I wish the storage drawer was a bit bigger. (Or had another one in the leg). We added a makeup case to supplement and she has truly had a ball.

My youngest daughter just turned 2 and we decided on a vanity for her birthday. We browsed through several different kinds and decided on this one. She loves her older cousin’s and plays with it every time she goes to her house so we figures it was time to get her own for her. You have to assemble it when it comes, but it is very easy to put together and maybe took me about 10 minutes all together. There is markings on the vanity where the screws are supposed to go, but there is no holes or countersinks so it takes you a minute to actually get them to go in like they are supposed to be. That was the only part that i was a little un-pleased about because it would have been a little less of a hassle if there was a pre-drilled hole or at least a countersink to get you started. It is a really cute set though and it is a light baby pink color and an off white. The little stickers that come with it are cute as well and only take a second to apply. The little places for you to put your makeup or whatever they want to put there is also a cute addition as well as the little drawer. It also comes with a brush, mirror, and a comb as well. The comb and mirror are great, but the brush is a little hard so my daughter doesn't like to use it. We bought her a soft brush and comb set to go with her vanity and she enjoys brushing her hair with it instead. There is a film on the actual mirror for the vanity and it took me at least a full minute to get it off, it is on there really good. The light is what really sold us for this set in the end because we knew that she would enjoy that little bonus. She loves this set and it is a good little vanity for a starting out little girl. She loves it, we love it and I am happy with my purchase.

I generally prefer wooden toys but there was no decent (i.e. cute) wooden competitor of this. So I do not want to complaint about the plastic, I just wanted to make a note that I have reservations about plastic by default. However, it's a solid quality plastic, not stinky, not sticky, it was relatively easy to assemble and pretty stable when standing by the wall. My only concern is the drawer: I wish it would not be "removable" (i.e. it would have some knot or knob to prevent it from being pulled out from it's track). Our kids always take it away so the drawer itself is mainly useless. Do not expect too much from the light either, though it's not a problem for us.

Purchased this as a Christmas gift for my 4 year old and 2 year old. They freaking love this thing and couldn't have been any happier with anything else. The vanity itself is made from all plastic and seems good quality. It was easy to assemble and took about 10 minutes, only need a screw driver. The size of the vanity was perfect for both my daughters. They can both sit on the stool and look in the mirror. The stool is also sturdy and not flimsy. The only negative thing I have to say about the vanity is the light is very dim and pretty much useless. However, it's not an important feature of the vanity. I looked long and hard to find a vanity that fit my budget, was quality, the right size, and would make my daughters light up with joy. I would recommend this item to all parents who have little girls.

Shipment was excellent! Tried to find this product both in Ontario and Michigan prior to Christmas and found out it was only available on-line. Amazon delivered on time with time to spare and best price. Our little princess loved it, and I am she will for years to come,her Mom and Dad are all so impressed as it is very sturdy, smooth gliding drawer. Her tiara and tutu made it the best gift.

Fantastic quality.

We ordered this beautiful dressing table for my daughter but Christmas morning she opened it and the mirror was broken, we called to amazon and they sent new table with new mirror 2 days later so now we need to post the first table back, but it's very strong and very good size, the chair is perfect, very easy to fix everything in 5 minutes, beautiful color only the broken mirror was bad in Christmas morning, i wish i was checked before.

Great little makeup set for my gandaughter the only bad thing is no real mirror.
