What does this smell like?

I just did a smell test for you. Not offensive, not cheap perfume. Not like sickening flowery. It's low odor and rather a clean smell. Davines makes high quality products with no offensive odors. I use several of their products and I hate cheap perfumy odors. Buy it.

Why is the product never full to or even near the top?

I believe it has to do with the pressure associated with packaging and is meant to prevent exploding/spilling bottles (especially in transit)
