CLC Custom Leathercraft 51112 Duffel Bag, Ballistic Nylon, 22 in.

UPDATE: had this bag some 2013 and it finally ripped on the handle. For a cheap bag that I used a lot it served its purpose. Won't be buying it again but I liked it for the price. Used this bag for a weekend trip to NYC recently and love it. The quality is great and the material used feels strong to last. I filled this to the max with 2 pairs of shoes, 2 jeans, some t-shirts, a few light sweaters and a medium sized jacket. Threw in some socks and boxers and a toiletry bag for travel. Also had my D700 camera in there as well as a lens. It as one inside pocket that fits a decent amount of little things for quick access. The zipper and the buckle clasps are heavy duty. The only gripe I might say is the the shoulder strap could use a bit more padding. I estimate I had about 10-15lb load in the bag and lugging it around shoulder style got a bit uncomfortable at times, but not unmanageable. For the price of this bag and quality I would definitely recommend it. It also fit in the overhead of the smaller planes, which I was glad for because I hate when they tag my bag even though it's a CARRY ON. The small planes that are 2 seats isle 2 seats.

I purchased this bag to use as gym bag, and almost immediately decided that it was a bit too big, and didn't have enough pockets for that purpose. I decided to keep it because it ended up being a very good bag for traveling. It holds a lot of stuff, and can still work as a carry on, and the leather handles feel great in my hands and make the bag easy to carry. It's also made out of sturdy fabric, so you can toss it around without worrying about it.

Really nice duffle. There are many compartments, which is okay, but a bit more clever packing spaces would have gotten five stars. It is big and nice looking. It is ruggedly built, so I hope it lasts a long time. We actually bought it to give to someone, but things changed so we own it now! I really like the leather and the shoulder strap. Great carry-on.

Great size bag for a five day trip. Love the lowpowfile look, and carryall resemblance. The rolled leather handles feel really durable. Easy bag to travel with had no problems getting it on the plain, fits in the overhead compartments.love traveling with this bag! Just used it for a weekend trip, couldn't be more satisfied.

Has held up well, used for carry on and walk about bag for a few week long trips now. Held up to quite a bit of weight. Looks classier than the price.

After a few weekend trips as a carry-on, this bag is already falling apart. The primary weakness is the stitching thread, which is not up to the task. It's already breaking where the handles connect to the nylon fabric, and is fraying where the bag has rubbed against my leg after short periods walking.It's disappointing that a good-looking bag (and not the cheapest one of its type) hasn't been more durable.

I bought and used this bag for my trip to London. It's the perfect size for a carry on when flying and its construction and design are impeccable. It feels extremely sturdy and the leather handles are excellent quality. I would recommend to anyone looking for a great gym or travel bag.
