This practically silent unit shreds papers easily. I received it today and have already given it a workout on the backlog of papers I need to shred (mainly bits and pieces of mail that contains my name, etc.). This isn't a heavy duty shredder (I wouldn't try to shred more than one sheet of paper at time), but it works well and chops the paper up into little bits, not strips. It's pretty small. I have yet to try the CD shredder or the card shredder.I can identify only two potential downsides at the outset: (i) the user manual contains no English translation (it is in Japanese), which means that I don't know what upkeep is recommended and (ii) the weakest part of the unit appears to be the handle, which is flimsy. However, the handle slides over a metal bit, so if the handle breaks, something else could be easily substituted.For now, I'm pleased as punch with this little shredder. It's great for light home use, it's quiet, and it's satisfying to use. Until I ordered this, I had been "shredding" my papers by cutting them up with scissors or tearing them into little pieces, and so this makes my work markedly easier.

Works really well but with one little problem. Wish there was a way to lock the lid. You have to hold the lid down with your hand to crank. Other than that it's perfect for small jobs.

The top section (the park that’s pink) is a little heavier than I was expecting, but it makes sense for the amount of blades it uses. Cuts up old debit cards/IDs just as easily as paper. Every other shredder I saw was at least twice and expensive and also not pink.

Easy enough to put handle on and use, seems durable and of good quality.

I like this product because the blades are sharp and it is very quiet to operate. It's small size does not take up much room in my office area. Why settle for boring office black when you have an option of pink!

注文ページの写真のイメージで軽いと思っていたので、届いたものが相当大きく重く感じました。回転する歯の構造を考えると当然でしたね。ハンドルは持つところが小さく少し回しづらいです。ハガキの厚みの紙はハンドルが重くなりますがゆっくり回せば大丈夫です。糊の付いた宅急便の宛名などは歯にくっつくので通さない方がいいと思います。紙を垂直にしっかり噛ませて本体を上から押さえ気味で使えば、サクサクと使えます。この価格でクロスカットですから大変満足です。家庭用には十分過ぎます。細かい文字のものは入れる方向を考えてやるといいと思います。

値段を考えたら充分です。“日常一般的”な 書類、ハガキ、サッと処分できて楽です。　定着して使う分にはいいのですが、持ち運んで使う場合、(刃物があるので)ふたが重いので倒れやすく、そしてふたがすぐ外れて中身がダーと出てしまいます。(おっちょこちょいの私だけかもしれませんが(^^;))倒れてもふたが外れない為のツメか何かが付いていてくれたらいいのにな、と思うところです。そこがマイナス要素です。外見はピンク色がかわいいです。

価格相当の商品です。紙はコピー用紙以下の薄い物ならザクザク切れます。ポストカードや、住所変更のシールが貼ってあるハガキは歯型が付くだけで細断できませんでした。安い物を選んで購入したので仕方ないですが、後300円出すのでせめてハガキは細断できればよかったと思います。また歯の部分が少し重たいので気を付けて使用しています。ピンクでかわいいです。CD、カードは使っていないのでわかりません。

予想外に重かったです。あとそこそこサイズも大きめで場所を取ります。ただ、安定がいいのとA4の紙がそのまま通せるので気に入ってます。フタが重すぎるのと、紙を巻きこむためちょくちょくフタをはずして挟まった紙を取り出すのが面倒なので、星4つにしました。細かく切れるところはすごくいいと思います。

Amazonアウトレットで、お値打ちに購入。６年前、アピタにて購入したシュレッターが不調にになり買い替えでしたが、届いた商品が、今まで使っていたのと同じ。（笑）使っていたのは、ナカバヤシではありません。中国の製造会社が、色々な会社に卸してるようですね。★追伸★２年で、ハガキを裁断するのが困難になりました。今回は、６年は使えなかった。
