How is the full grain leather top bonded with the bottom half of the belt? Glue?

If you are talking about the full grain top as thought the belt was made from layers, it looks and feels like a solid hunk of leather. If you are talking about the clasp end of the belt, the leather is folded over and stitched like most belts. I expect this belt to last a very long time.

how wide is this belt? 1inch or 1.5inch?

3 cm exactly which is almost 1.25 inch.

Why does the belt say "Faux Leather" on the underside of the belt if it's genuine leather????

A couple of years ago I bought one in black, I was sick of expensive belts being made of 2 strips of leather glued together and eventually seperating. I wanted a real piece of good leather. I was amazed at the quality of the leather, and it still looks good...if it wasn't real I couldn't tell. However about six months ago I bought one in brown and the quality, while a great buy, seemed to denote a high quality PU leather rather than real cowhide. It still looks good, and I believe its still a great buy, I wear suit pants every day. There is no way you'll find a better belt unless you spend about $100. Very satisfied...so far.

Is it really soft and flexible or hard as rock as some of the reviews seem to suggest ?

This belt is flexible, but not overly so. It's definitely not hard as a rock. I have had mine for a while now, and it's still holding up well. I like the belt and I think you will too.
